    Well it took two days for the man at the guitar shop to figure out the string issue. Now it's all fixed :D

      Never had an issue with Floyds myself. One of my BC Richs has one and it's certainly never broken strings that quick either! Must have been set up really badly!

    Can anyone help me? Why are my strings snapping (11 - 54's) when I'm tuning to Drop C?

      Also - are you actually tuning to drop C or are you just detuning two whole steps?

      what guitar you got? only seen issues with strats tuning to drop C, and thats holding it rather than snapping. maybe get some 12/13s if your playing heavy stuff

      That's why I asked what tuning he's actually using. A true Drop C tuning wouldn't necessarily need heavy top strings but would need heavier bottom strings than you'd get in a set of 12's. I used to use lo-tune GHS Boomers (the Zakk Wylde signature ones) and they were 11-72. Nice for a bit of Carcass!

      Yeah, I wish I was allowed to learn Spanish. Never learnt it when I was younger, wasn't allowed to for GCSEs, I'm trying to learn it by myself now, but it's not the same without a teacher. I can still read German alright from school and I only did that for a year before I dropped it.

      no you'll make fuk all money, maybe £50 for a 10watt and you;d have earned more money spending the time working in mcdonalds. it takes a slick well followed band/group/act to make any kind of money, and then the margins are very slim. i worked in office for a friends distribution label and bands with thousands of followers can only sell a few hundred albumns with little profit margin

    This will just be my diary of how it goes. So here's the gun I'm trying to replicate: 1) Buy this: http://www.airsoftdeals.co.uk/vltor-imod-style-stock/ 2) Find an RAS that will fit. 3) Use my ACOG for ascetics. 4) Buy a cheap grip from Crawley Surplus Store. 5) Test it out. If anyone can help me with the RAS then pls post. Update 1: I've taken the stock off. Now time to find a buffer tube. Found a RAS unit. I'll install that first as it;s easier. http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=8744 Luckily this will be quite a cheap build since I already have the base gun. Update 1 edit: Here's a picture. Coming together nicely.

    I was called a c*nt by someone because I shot him even though he was out (He didn't have his hand up). I get tons of abuse from some. Mostly kids. I found that when you stop renting; you gain confidence. If you can't try to find another site.
