  1. It was your fault I bought at KWA LM4 about 6 years ago. I must have watched your videos on it to death 😂
  2. Nothing ignorant or uneducated about zip ties (and various types of tape!) After my clumsy arse stripped screws out of my stock tube on my TM, that was held together with a combination of both for a while! Not trying to be a snob or anything like that, just stung too many times by Chinese products!
  3. I'd definitely go with the modding. This is kinda why I vowed to stay away from replica gear for the most part. You spend your money, and you get something that's either out of spec from the word go, or lasts about a month, and then you buy another. Cheaper genuine gear will usually trump cheaper replicas trying to be gucci bits of kit. You might spend a little more, say £45 vs £20, but if you're only buying it once, it's worth it.

If the Wolf Armouries website is to be believed, there looks to be about 50g in it between the two. 450ish vs 500g.
  5. Unpopular opinion (not meant to upset, more promote discussion) - If you're looking at a way to improve your airsoft experience, instead of buying kit, work on your personal fitness.

Since July I've lost 2 stone, and greatly improved my cardio and flexibility. I feel much more effective as a player now.

Refined sugar has no place in any decent diet, glad to see the back of it.

I've gone ahead and created a topic, as Jedi said.

Personally I tend to use airsoft for fitness as well as fun - but a 200 acre site in the North Wales hills will do that for you!

That and mowing three lawns totally about a third of an acre and on the side of a hill help too, especially pushing around a non self-propelled petrol lawnmower after first dragging it up to the top of the flaming hill (which is higher than the roof of the house).

Unfortunately the recent month and a half of little activity mean I need to start getting back out again very soon as I've put on a bit of weight (think dad-bod not morbidly obese).  Sadly my age doesn't help too much either, although my brain still thinks I'm in my early twenties my body is painfully aware that I'm in my late forties!!

As for losing weight and keeping it off, I subscribe to a very simple formula: eat less and move more.  Works for me!

Last I saw Davescustomairsoft still had two in stock, mine arrived yesterday.
  7. Look, I'm having a tidy up and I tried to crop it out okay!? 😂 Also, on that note, the really useful 9l storage boxes are perfectly sized for magazine storage.
  8. How often do people swap optics between guns?

Hurry up and do it then so I can have a TM 416 GBBR! 😂

Well naturally, you can't have a surplus of optics!

    Didn't you want mine? 😂
  12. Guess that means you need to buy a new beavertail, safety, trigger and hammer then... the never ending airsoft drama. 😂
  13. Thought it was genuine when I looked at the texture of it in your other pic... Saw one in a kit group the other month, should have grabbed it!
  14. Where'd you acquire the stock? I must admit I've not looked in a while, but I fancy one for my MWS...
  15. Possibly. You'd have to be looking right down the sight to see it though. It is visible from the front, for sure, but practically you'd struggle I think.
  16. Right, that's it, I'm done this month, there is now officially too much month left at the end of the money... Shoddy pic, trying to get my new stuff in. A gate titan NGRS advanced, a (new to me, but slightly preloved) Haley strategic flat pack, and a vortex Crossfire.

I used to use single point, then started using two point slings, with the sling attached to the stock, rather than the back of the receiver and the other end attached at the back of the rail system as close to the receiver as possible. Removed any ASAP plates where possible too. I'd say they really aren't worth it. As above, let go of your rifle with a single point sling and you'll smash your sausage. Two point slings not so much.

Gorgeous looking rifle. Purposeful. Also, just to say thanks making my MWS wonderfully skirmishable with the brass nub. My spacer should arrive this week, can't wait to see how snappy it cycles!
  19. All about the ergonomics today. Cheaper than a new grip, and solves the comfort issue I had with my A2 grip. Will report back when it has cured.
  20. Only if it's decent porn. I'm a slide release kinda guy, over the top isn't for me.
