  1. A hundred quid? Are you using faberge eggs as grenades?
  2. I don't agree with this, too many say they're going to be defending or stay back and waste bb' s on something that isn't in range. Move forward.
  3. Compact enough to use in CQB, reliable, hoops quality. 200 quid maximum. Advice please.
  4. Sometimes flinching isn't a good indicator though, last time I was playing someone sent the marshall over to check me because he had shot at me and I'd flinched, I'd flinched because it hit the barrell I was in cover behind and I hugged it a bit tighter. Personally airsoft is as much about the fantasy of playing soldiers and the gear than it is about the game and I just accept that sometimes because of mine and others kit it won't be registered. If I think I'm hitting someone and they don't take it I keep shooting until they put their hand up, eventually they notice.
  5. I've often wondered about special forces use of pistols in real life. Clearly they use them in cqb but in the jungle ive never read anything about them using them.
  6. Hoping for an away match that weekend so that I can attend. More I hear more I think that this is the sort of thing that I want to be doing.
  7. We need to start getting commission on combat machine m4s
  8. When you are talking about over a hundred quids worth of gun my advise would be wait and save than attempting to do things on the cheap.
  9. Just a few questions is this a milsim event that is good for someone who hasn't been to one before? Is a radio a necessity I don't have one and couldn't really be shelling out for one if I needed to but some midcaps. Do any patches on clothing need to be removed like most I have started off buying UK army surplus so would each of those badges need covering? I'm sure more questions will come to me. I really fancy coming for the full weekend but I have fot to wait till the 18th to see what next years fixture list is like.
  10. I wouldn't trust anyone on my team even people who think they know what they're doing generally don't.
  11. Hope we find out in the next half an hour got to go to the pub to watch Hodgson destroy the best attacking talent England have had in my lifetime with his unique brand of anti football.
  12. Whats the one piece of advice you'd share about skirmishing? For me it would be to take your time, look where everyone else is running off to and think about what you are going to do.
  13. and thats fine if its a risk to you and all the people you invite might think the same but if something serious happens and someone loses and eye or breaks a leg and it impairs their ability to work you see how quickly those people forget about that and get a brief on the phone. Its not worth th erisk.
  14. I rented once or twice a month for 8 months before I bought my first AEG, yes you might say all that retal money was wasted but if you aren't someone who sticks at hobby's its a lot better to know its something you really enjoy doing.
  15. She likes the fact that I have something that takes away from the all consuming obsession that is football. A free day in front of the tele for her to catch up on all the soaps. She'd never come though and I'd never want her to.
  16. Id never play without knowing there was insurance for me and anyone else that was playing not worth it.
  17. Ive found if you spinan oshiboom when you throw it it more consistently goes off.
  18. Can't think of a gun rack without thinking 'a gun rack? I don't own A gun never mind many guns that would necessitate an entire rack'
  19. If derby fail to get to wembley im going to go to the next one in two weeks hopefully however a day on the lash with the lads is too much to pass up.
  20. That looks excellent for the price Ian. What do you need to mount it on an m4?
  21. Nothing more specific just looking for some suggestions of what people have bought.
  22. The ronseel of posts, looking for a torch for my M4 something bright enough to startle peoples on wntering dark buildings.
  23. For those of us that unfortunately have left our teens behind its still something to think about. For a while know ive been doing high intensity training. First, you warm up for a couple of minutes with some gentle cycling: then you cycle as fast as you possibly can ("hell for leather", as Mosley describes it) for 20 seconds. Then, you cycle gently again for a couple of minutes while you catch your breath, then do another 20 seconds "flat out". Then, for a final time, two minutes gentle cycling to catch your breath, followed the third period of 20 seconds at "full throttle". I did it just to see if it had any benefits after seeing it on horizon and remarkbly with that little exercise I've seen an improvement. Since then ive done the couch to 5k.
