  1. If the original markings are the usual white transfers then you might just be out of luck. If they're engraved then happy days!
  2. It could actually be the acetone reacting with the original finish. If you're aiming to get it back to black you might struggle without just stripping/keying it and repainting.
  3. Tacky to the touch? Try some Label remover or sticky stuff remover (usually has citrus oil in it). Alternatively strip it right down to component parst and give it a damn good scrub in hot water and detergent followed by a good degreaser.
  4. People underestimate just how much of a difference that little bit of grease on the piston o-ring makes. If you had ONLY changed the spring and got the same results then I would be inclined to agree but as you also said that you lubed up one of the major points or airseal then no, I'd say it was an m100 in that m100 packet.
  5. I fully understand anyone that justifies doing something with "because I can". High RoF guns are usually the by product of trying to achieve good trigger resonse but to me, honestly I don't see the point. If you think that suppressive fire has to be loads of shots on target at as high a rate as possible then you're just plain wrong (the sustained rate of fire on an M249 is only 100rpm for example). It's about being able to sustain a rate of fire that stops the target from firing back - if you have such a high RoF on your airsoft gun that you're going to spunk through all your ammo in no time flat then you've kind of missed the point really. 60 rpm is plenty to suppress a target if you can land shots on target reliably! That said my biggest issue with high Rof monsters isn't the guns, it's the dickheads that usually use them. I know it's a sweeping generalisation but I'd say 99 times out of a hundred whenever I've faced someone with a high RoF gun they've been trigger happy, overkilling, team killing non-hit taking idiots.
  6. Right, gotcha. If you could change the side attachment for the strap to a lower point (maybe swap out the old two point strap attachment for a D ring?) it would sit higher which would then allow you to trim the profile of the mask to properly fit your goggles. I use a similar setup but my mask fits quite well on my ESS goggles...
  7. Just FYI that's EXACTLY the battery I run in my MP5K (Classic Army). It just about fits OK but it's a bit of a wiggle....
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JT-Flex-8-Paintballing-mask-/252277221965?hash=item3abce4ea4d:g:3oIAAOSwvUlWs5s0 Is mesh no an option for you? Most lowers cover your nose and with a judicious bit of fettling can be made to fit most goggle profiles.
  9. Why not just use LiPo? Yes, in theory what you have suggested will work. Whether it actually makes any real difference is up for discussion though depending on what your end game is.
  10. In fact there's a couple of Flex 8's on ebay now for £25-30 if you REALLY want that look.
  11. That's a lower half from a paintball mask isn't it? Confirmed in the comments section " It's the lower part of a JT Flex 8 paintball mask." Might be worth contacting RAP4 and asking if they sell the lower half as a spare?
  12. This. I have a 46" chest and my 901 is adjusted almost as small as it goes. Remember that most "proper" PCs and chest rigs are designed to be worn over more than just a t-shirt/UBACS.
  13. No, it's got to be gas. It's more turn on and offable.
  14. Try moving it forward, roughly over the magwell.
  15. This. Whereabouts on the rifle do you have your sight? I'd be willing to bet it's too far back.
  16. If you don't want to do the Zero One thing then they're pretty easy to find on eBay.
  17. Try this: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=6749
  18. Yes, and the one where he explained that he doesn't use forums and just wanted an explanation which you then decided meant he was lying.
  19. I don't see how which section it was posted in makes the blindest bit of difference. Personally I think you were out of order by making the suggestion that the OP was basically lying. If someone doesn't use forums how are they supposed to know what forum ranks are or how they work?
  20. My view on head shots is this - the game involves shooting each other. Some places hurt more than others but why complain about getting shot in the head? You know the risks involved when you start - if you don't like it, buy a helmet. That said, while I don't necessarily aim for the head all the time sometimes it's unavoidable.
  21. That's a bit harsh. Not everyone spends half their day online surfing forums.
  22. Unfortunately you won't be able to buy from Taiwangun until you have your UKARA registration sorted due to customs issues.
  23. TM doesn't generally have the same type of delta nut on the receiver but if your receiver is JG then I see no reason why it wouldn't fit.
  24. Sorry but I think you're wrong. No microswitch I've ever used has had no switch bounce and that includes the high end stuff I used to use for aircraft spec systems. It's just the nature of the beast.
