  1. Yes, I usually buy the FMA ones because they a) fit better and b) are far more adjustable with individual pads etc. The Emerson/Nuprol ones that just have a solid liner are properly gash.
  2. It's not so much the fogging as the "raining out" that bothers me, up in the top inner corners of the lenses. I do sweat like a paedophile in Mothercare at the best of times though!
  3. I have ESS Profile Turbofan goggles but I prefer to wear glasses or similar in woodland. I tried mesh ages ago and they were just too dark to see properly. A buddy of mine uses a pair of Heroshark Viper glasses that are decent then I saw he does a hex mesh which is more open. Coupled with availability in a frame that can swap out lenses easily I figured why not take a punt.
  4. Second hand pair of Revision Bullet Ants and a pair of @heroshark mesh lenses. Time to try out some mesh that I can actually see through!
  5. Most FAST style helmets will work, the high cut ones more so as they are specifically designed to work with headsets. You just need to remove the pads in the helmet where the headset sits.
  6. New fire selectors for the SCAR! These are RS Magpul ones so there'll be some dremelling in their future to fit my G&G.
  7. Ah yes, Gods Plaid. Nice pics and well done on the weight loss!
  8. The FMA Fast in XL fits my 62cm swede. The FMA EXF bump (Team Wendy copy) fits well mostly due to the different shell shape and significantly better retention system (the boa system knock the OCC dial adjuster out the park). The largest of the FMA Maritimes just about fits me but your mileage may vary. Airframes do seem to be built for bigger heads but personally I just think they look ridiculous.
  9. They do a whole range of Ranger Green which is definitely greyer looking than their other stuff. The OD is pretty close to it though to be fair.
  10. This advert is COMPLETED!

Looking for the rail mount adaptor for an M203 (see pic). Price is negotiable on condition.

    £10

  11. It was from Act In Black. As I understand it they're the EU distributor so drop them a line through the contact form on their website and I'm sure they'll be happy to help. Do haggle on delivery though, they wanted 40 odd Euros to deliver that originally!
  12. There is a very definite "persona" to a lot of YT players and I think he suffers from having built a persona that doesn't necessarily match his actual personality.
  13. Anyone know what site this is? I'm wondering what their bolt action MED is as he clearly states that the FOB he's firing into is "about 20-25m" away.
  14. Very nice, I'd leave them off but I wear gloves so that may make the difference for comfort.
  15. Garand Thumb for the win. If only for the comments section! Airsoft "reviews" of kit that are literally just "it's a thing that's made of stuff it comes in lots of colours" are worse than useless, same goes for unboxing videos of gifted bits. Actual informative reviews of stuff a la @TheFull9 are great, anything that has the "reviewer" in full gear fumbling about with stuff while wearing tactical gloves gets an ignore straight away. I'll also say one of the BEST channels for airsoft is Negative Airsoft https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdWFrvXg78qI4j8Brfit2XA cos Luke is ace and he swears like a navvy with Tourettes.
  16. Depends...how low is your chest? Facetious comments aside, if it works for you, it's where it needs to be. Simple.
  17. Good stuff, Gate Titans do NOT like those motors though!
  18. You can see the Viper logo on his dropleg strap. I doubt it's worth more than £100 all up.
  19. The joys of importing - last week I received a small package from Violent Little Machine Shop in the US, just a few patches value £20. I get stung for £5 VAT and the usual £8 Royal Mail buttfuck. Today I get $82 worth of helmet cover from Agilite in Israel and nothing. No VAT, no duty no nothing. Both had CN22s attached with the correct value (no "gift" or comedy low value). What the actual fuck?

I've always enjoyed the conversation with Royal Mail when you point out that you are paying more in VAT and their fees than the package cost.....

Not to Murca so much anyway, the God Emperor has put the kybosh on that - https://fortune.com/2018/10/18/universal-postal-union-trump-china-trade-war/

It's still cheaper to ship to UK destinations from Beijing than from Bath though.

  20. New helmet cover! And a fancy sticker because it's my first order! Not gonna lie I'm a bit excited about this. And yes I am well aware that I should get out more if a helmet cover gets me excited but it's a proper cover for a Team Wendy AND it's from Agilite!
  21. I'm not a huge fan of Viper generally but the cheaper stuff is likely to be lower quality materials with a lower stitch count. The question YOU need to ask is "will it be fine for what I want?". If you can't justify the cost of the higher end kit, get the cheaper stuff but go into it with your eyes open.
