  1. I know what you're saying, I was under the impression it was top of plate would sit below the notch in the top of the sternum? Otherwise the bottom wouldn't protect your liver or somesuch. Like you say, pretty moot if it's comfortable where he has it seeing as it's just for da beebs!
  2. I reckon Luke could give him a run for his money...
  3. The peak in 2017/18 was not that unusual al though granted, higher than it's been for a while. Nevertheless it was still a strain of influenza coupled with the particularly cold weather so a known quantity. The current situation is down to a novel virus with no effective vaccine as yet. We are in uncharted territory and as such life has to step away from normality to deal with it. Like it or not, the most effective way of stopping viral spread is isolation. Huge chunks of the population have demonstrated their unwillingness to comply with even the most simple of guidance so we find ourselves in the current situation. Have the government handled it well? Of course not, but I very much doubt that ANY political party would be handling it well without the general consensus of the population and if this country has proven ANYTHING over the last few months it's that there IS no consensus among the general public, most of whom seem to lack even the most basic of common sense. As for Manchester, it all just looks like political point scoring at the cost of the people of Manchester. Somehow if Corbyn or Starner were in power I doubt very much that Burnham would be kicking up as much fuss even if presented with the exact same scenario.
  4. Just like they have over the last few weeks you mean?
  5. It says Gen 2 on it so maybe it's a newer design than the one you looked at?
  6. What makes you say that? Angry Gun themselves show it with a battery in on their own site.
  7. Hawke do some but they're longer. Maybe you could cut one down? https://www.ant-supplies.uk/scope-sight-optic-accessories/hawke-scope-sunshades.html
  8. Addisons sucks. One of our Lhasa's developed that, hope he's good on the meds!
  9. You have a velcro hot tub? Wacky!
  10. Number of teeth by the looks of it. Type 2 has the first tooth cut down already.
  11. They're not really for re-indexing though. They're there to help you put the mag in in the first place (in the case of the Ferro ones they're for fitting bungees)
  12. Elastic pouches tend to stretch out after a while plus the camo pattern fades quite quickly. They come in magazine specific sizes and yes, you can get them for 7.62 mags but not in the same pouch (a 7.62 pouch will fit a 5.56 mag obviously it won't be retained as well). Taco pouches are the way if you want a "one size fits all" approach. Personally I prefer kydex retention in my pouches (like Esstac KYWI) to get rid of the bungees.
  13. Kinda want an AAP-01 just so I can get this conversion kit: https://shop.jkarmy.com/c-c-mak-style-slide-set-for-aap01-gbbp-type-1-aap-01.html

      shame that it's 3d printed.

I'm staying away from printed kits, after seeing bent mk23 carbines because they've been left in a car trunk.

Small parts are ok, but whole bodies? no thanks.

I just bought one from PB for 75quid - was too good to resist - just hoping the delivery on Friday arrives after wife goes to work and not before :D

  14. Funny you should say that, I bought a Gigabyte Z490 Gaming X in the end which has no RGB bullshit. Is nice and black (not that you can tell anyway seeing as it's in a non-windowed case).
  15. Saw FF promoting these, where do you the bangs from?
  16. True facts. That's not even all of them. I've added a G3 and an M14 Socom since then too!
  17. If you're looking to display them on a flat wall (ie not the pitched bit) then I'd say grid wall.
  18. In that case, yes a high torque motor will improve the response a bit which will improve once you put your chosen mosfet in. Just be aware though that the V3 trigger will always be a bit squishy by its very nature so don't expect the featherlite response you'd get with a Titan in an M4 for example.
  19. Yes, but I'd stick a small mosfet into it so the motor can take advantage of all the current it needs. Mine had a Gate Pico wired in and stashed under the top cover. Worked a treat!
  20. You need a sling with a plain end, not a hook. The sling is supposed to wrap around that bar and secure back on itself with a tri-glide. As for slings - what's your budget?
  21. Guess it depends on the space available. Red Alert (granted it's woodland) run low power paintball for the kiddie-winks, often at the same time as the airsoft is running (in a different part of the site). I just can't see Luke not swearing his head off at kids (although it would amuse me to see him try)!
  22. Depends if the insurance covers it. Given the style of Zed I doubt that catering to ickle kids is on their radar (more likely to get a themed experience more akin to the zombie/post apocalypse stuff they did before).
