I've used them before and they were fine. Bloke who runs it it a nice guy, call him and let him know your concerns.

But it's slow and noisy and cold and rubbish. If you're not a farmer or an avid off-roader I see no reason to own one in this country.

I screwed a section of MOE foregrip rail to the side of my MP5K foregrip so I could fit a torch. Works well with the small scout type lights.

If you're happy with hicaps stick with the G&G mags, they're fine but the mids have been a bit sketchy. The blowback is just a rattly flappy plate on the gearbox which makes a noise but if you ever need a new gearbox (say...when the front cracks off) then you either buy a standard gearbox and lose the flappy clacky bit or pay through the nose for a new G&G box. Why though are you "trying to avoid LiPo as much as possible"? They're not inherently dangerous as half the internet seems to want people to think and if you stick to 7.4v they won't lunch your gears or trigger contacts terribly quickly either.

Get the M14 and a barrel clamp mount for a torch (a proper one not your Laura Ashley feature piece).

I have the L/XL version of the FMA one. It's snug with the pads in but it fits me OK. Just how big is your head?

Emerson Sidewinder flashlight, Pentagon Artaxes jacket (in wolf grey obvs), G&P QD suppressor to turn into a tracer for my M14 (cos it's not like it's long enough already or anything). FMA PEQ15/LA5, XTR rail covers and hand stop, MOE vert grip and (if it ever turns up) an SRS sight to do my Steve McGarrett MK18 (just go to justify buying the base rifle now).

The goggles themselves don't come like that usually. You can buy the swivel clips and attach them yourself though.
