  1. Anyone else spot the little kid weaning a "FUCK TRUMP" t-shirt?
  2. Yeah, just tried that myself and got the same result. Seems they're just not accepting UK orders at the minute.
  3. Of course you can. As long as you meet their minimum order limit which to the UK is currently £135.
  4. Not really. The percentage duty and VAT is still the same. It's purely down to where the VAT is paid - at point of purchase or point of import. If it's paid at point of purchase Royal Mail would have no reason to charge you their extra handling fee so it might save you £8.
  5. It's OEM'd by A&K so it's their gearbox. As you say though there are no internal mosfets but you can get external ones that are programmable to give semi on initial trigger pull then auto after a short dwell. I used to use a Burst Wizard on mine for that very reason. Thing is though that apart from the (frankly rubbish) "lightweight" models an M249 (even the para version) is hugely impractical for a CQB setting purely down to the size and weight of it.
  6. There's a few "names" in the firearms world that have come out in support of airsoft as a training tool recently, Lucas (T-Rex) and Travis Haley of particular note. In fact Lucas has actually said that the real steel world needs to embrace the milsim/airsoft world https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ7OVKehSzN/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  7. Depends when you bought it, the first batch were shite but new ones have been sorted out much better.
  8. In that case, you've bought the wrong kind of rail. A lot of airsoft retailers sell them as MP5/G3 rails. They work on the G3 as the recoil stop is right at the back of the upper, just in front of the rear sight (well clear of the charging handle). The rail you've posted here is very much not the same as the rail you've bought!
  9. If your purchase is £135 or less (and the seller has registered for UK VAT) the VAT is paid at point of purchase and there will be no duty and Royal Mail won't charge. If it's over £135 it'll be the same as it always was; cost of goods plus shipping and insurance for duty calculation, VAT calculated on that total, handling charge on top. https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/
  10. The bit sticking up on the top of the receiver is a recoil stop block. It's purpose is to stop the sight mount slipping under recoil so yes it is (more or less) to help you align your scope mount. I think the problem here is with what you think is the front of the mount is actually the back. The extension part is the front.
  11. I do. I have the FMA plastic one and it's absolutely fine.
  12. You want one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FMA-Tactical-Vest-Shoulder-Mount-Sling-Fixed-Anchor-Hook-Clip-Molle-Chest-Rig-/122038603693 Velcro's on to your chest rig/vest shoulder strap and holds your sling away from your neck.
  13. I have the M32H set and they've been good. The cheaper ones (Z-shot etc) are even worse so you pays your money... One thing to bear in mind is that the Earmor headsets are wired to NATO pinouts so you'll need either a genuine PTT or one of theirs, the chinese clone Z-Shot type won't work with them.
  14. Ah, was only looking at HanWar! No 552 on the official store either
  15. I've ordered from AliExpress many times and a good few times from Wipson. They're fine but very few sellers on there are particularly good at comms. One of my most recent purchases sat as "waiting to send" for a good three weeks but is now on its way so it's nothing unusual. It's usually down to them waiting to bulk ship their orders.
  16. They aren't showing a 552 on their AliExpress shop at the minute.
  17. Let's not forget that people have been shot and killed by armed response units for carrying a chair leg before now...
  18. Plus shipping, plus duty, plus VAT.
  19. @ak2m4 has the ZCI 430mm and 450mm inner barrels in stock now, https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/inner-barrels/zci-inner-barrel-430mm, either of those will be fine. The Cyma barrel is...OK, but a better inner will help. It's not just the size of the bore but the quality of it that counts if you want to DMR and the Cyma barrels aren't great unless you spend some time polishing them. For £23 the ZCI I've linked to will be better. My Socom is still stock hop wise, the flat hop in the EBR hasn't caused me any issues with feeding so far but it's not been used all that much as it's a heavy old beast!
  20. That entirely depends on what sort of wall you have! Mine is into a breeze block wall so if I remember correctly (it's been a while) they're No.8 x 30mm twin thread screws. If you're going into a plasterboard wall then I'd suggest maybe a toggle fixing plug or one of the metal screw in plugs as the racking on its own is fairly heavy then you have to factor in the weight of all the guns you're putting on there! Something to bear in mind is that the arms that hold the gun need to be the right length. Mine are long enough to double stack the guns but if you just want one gun per set of arms, get the shorter ones! Also, try and buy everything from one supplier, much like airsoft parts there is some variance in the sizes so for example, the hat stands I have don't fit on the gridwall I have!
  21. Gridwall attaches to brackets that are screwed to the wall, you can see one just behind the suppressor on the top rifle https://www.directshopfittings.co.uk/r435-gridwall-wall-fixing-bracket/?gclid=CjwKCAiA_9r_BRBZEiwAHZ_v18Dm9KzUa5WvyVSBJrTsB1bMc_DRylaVHLPkUuLlAYPSZ6x-FvtN9xoC5G8QAvD_BwE
  22. I have two Cyma M14s. My Socom one is stock but the EBR has a ZCI tightbore barrel and a flat hopped Prometheus Purple rubber. The issue with the hop unit being picky with the rubber comes from the original TM ones, basically the TM came with a hop rubber with little to no protrusion into the feed tube, if you replaced it with something like the Prommy one then it stuck out too far and would cause feed problems. If you do get issues of that nature you can CAREFULLY trim the end of the rubber with a scalpel or similar but you do risk causing airseal issues. So far I've not had a problem with either of mine though. One thing to beware of if you do go down the upgrade route is that the TM/Cyma inner barrel has different grooves than a standard barrel does so you need either an M14 specific one like the Prometheus EG or one with both sets of grooves like the ZCI.
  23. You know that's a contradiction in terms, right? You can't be a fascist if you're left-wing.
  24. I mean, if they're set up right they work well...IF.
