  1. agreed, asg can stick etc when you coulda got the kill. sofar my tm ones have been grand as have my gfg ones
  2. i remember a kid who unknown to him i remember from having done youth work where he lives and i remember him punching me in the balls... fun kid... anyway he came to our site and proceeded to shout orders at everyone and scream cover me when he came under fire(thats what happens when you give orders, you give your position away....) lets just say i may have left wide gaps for him to be flanked... lol then you get at the like of our last 'milsim'. 3 entrances into the enemy controlled ground. i was one of our sides team captains and we were supposed to be the quick response. anyway the 3 gates got efficiently shut down by the enemy. me and another regular were the only ones left at one of the gates as everyone kept probing to get through the others. eventually the defenders wondered off looking for kills and glory at the other areas leaving a skeleton force, and my team mate went for it. when i noticed he was away i followed. between us we cleared the site and finally managed to take down some objectives. and all down to the player that chose the harder path and was patient and skilled at it. respect for them over those who just go for glory....
  3. yea dye method worked well for me(dyed multicam) only thing is it will fade evenly so look nearly one colour. when dying if using the dylon black dye stuff(should be in you local supermarket in the cleaning isle) which is easy use if using the full packet at once make sure you have everything you are looking to dye in at once to achieve equal colouring and that when washing to achieve equal fading wash all. but definitely a good way to go is looking for unique specially as you could potentially get the exact darkness you are looking for....
  4. i drive. and i give lift to some... infact thats how we ended up forming bad company, me and the other guy i usually regularly give lifts to kept saying well make a team... came from that. infact they come from all over our town which is famous for being religiously divided (if youve ever heard of drumcree thats in our town...) and we all get on great even with our differing views... aint airsoft great...
  5. also the tm hop thing is pretty moot on their shotguns as the hop unit is non adjustable one tri shots so all it gives you is their rubbers which without the adjustablility that aint brilliant... plus i pulled mine apart cocking it..., twice, the first time the stock broke around the butt screw(new stock) the second time i broke the inner shell... and both times via cocking it. which is kinda necessary to do with a shotty... however i have using my spring powered shotguns outshot a couple of gas powered ones with ease so going by that wouldnt recommend that route(and they have had lots of breakage problems....) also i remember seeing a shotgun somewhere that every time you pump it it adds a bb to the chamber, so you get the accuracy of the single shots, with the cc joy of multi shot... ill see if i can find it....
  6. a new ambidextrous holster as my first one finally gave up too much fo me to use it on my right(will see if my mate wants it to start him off as hes a lefty...) however its a bit tight on my m92 but as im looking at a new pistol soon im not worried...
  7. i had the goblin solo, which i reviewed in the pistol section---- http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/15641-the-goblin-experience/ . for the money though, get a shotgun...
  8. have a tm super 90 that broke and so i had to open it up and put double eagle pars into it(from a gun i was given to do this with) and the whole tm being better quality dosent wash on the shotgun front. theres so little differences other than the outer cosmetic that i can honestly say id never think of tm shotty again... recently got a gfg 25 tri shotty and have to say shoots just as well for 1/4 the price(dosent have some of the exernal features of the tm, still looks awsome...
  9. only ever seen one decent sniper(who was playing aggressive btw) specially with ours being at a considerable disadvantage... getting your camo to work(so the camo that works best at your site will actually change per season) rather than look good would be very important. have you tried sniping before you invest considerably into it?
  10. going by this map, you really do .http://www.airsoftmap.net/Skirmish/ somewhere north Fermanagh would have a rather large catchment area.... u should try to convince some farmer that it could work...
  11. ... dont think any of would have thought of that being the definition for dumb-ass, lol.
  12. im not available this sat unfortunately. really need to start visiting other sites too...
  13. on the parts from america issue(sorry missed that) i got a magpul shotgun stock sent from america no problem (customs hit me for an extra £15 though...) but then the stock being exactly the shape and feel of what i wanted of course wouldnt fit my airsoft shotgun... maby one day itll be tried on one of our real ones or ill copy it into wood... who knows.... does anyone else not like non g36 style stocks on g36s? dosent look right to me ever...
  14. didn't this come up before(this same pic?) cause i think i remember someone commenting about it before that they were talking to one of those involved and that the picture doesn't cover them actually doing the bang rule as they worked it that they had done whatever and were both then ducking down to avoid fire and that's when the picture was taken? even if im wrong on it we cant see any of the lead up etc. i know of many dodgy pics that seemed fine when being taken and then look like they don't represent what the photographer was aiming quite for. course blind firing is stupid, as is point blank firing at someone. i think that the airsoft mag in question used this pic on purpose to increase their ratings..
  15. how about go scifi style... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Motorcross-Racing-Full-Body-Armor-Spine-Chest-Protective-Jacket-Gear-/171338457222?pt=UK_Body_Armour_Protectors&var=&hash=item27e4916086
  16. m92 are beautiful. not much you can do to improve em though and the fixed hop thing is grr. my mate has a tm one and mine is we and dosent seem to be a real big difference in play bar weight. do make sure you handly one though before you buy as they are quite big if you have small hands. and if your site allows c02 go for that but you are probably safer with gas. also if you are new i reccomend playing a few months before you look into pistols as they dont add much to your compatative game play, thye are just for fun in comparison to your main(says the guy carrying a m4, shotty and pistol....)
  17. exactly i picked up a new shotty the other day for £45 and it shoots better than the tm one i have which is like £150 new...cancel the trade if you can. my first springer pistols were like £10 and i wouldnt touch em now given the chance
  18. in all likelyhood right next to useless and a waste of money. now whilst i have gotten kills with a few springers when youve used anything else youl see they are a waste cept for humiliation kills. only springers with thinking of are shotguns(preferably trishots) and decent sniperrifles(which need upgraded) in other words get your money back if you can...

    battlefield 3

you say that, yet im still surprised that more of the big franchises havent released any games for the next gen consoles, i know they are coming. cod and battlefield haven't a only next gen game out yet... (understandably in some ways but sadly in others)
  21. i just got a set of ripstop ones last week. material seamed good, but the stitching started giving up after the first skirmish...something to be aware of but it could just be i got a dodgy one and have sent it back for a replacement...
  22. ya know thats such a good job i may well do the same...
  23. the first time was fro the craic the second time was for the money and really wasnt worth it. i have much respect for those northern scenes now as the day we were filiming marching in formation in mud and wind and rain in clothes designed to look the part but really arnt... pure torture. the lannisters have it easy i say...
