  1. yea its a risk. but being a very sweaty guy the chances of damage are far greater of me not being able to see, adjusting /trying to clean and actually getting shot in eye/doing something properly stupid like running into a wall/tripping etc. and glasses which may well have improved circulation offer no protection from certain angles so i could be screwed if lying down and getting shot from an angle, grenade firing bbs up under the mask etc... ill take mesh thank you...
  2. so i finally got round to listng it on sunday, got an offer that night and just delivered it. so for interest of others i got it for £40 in a sale(rrp £60) not i lost the original gas cartridge and bought 2 new ones for £26. sold for £40. considering wear and loss of original cartridge, im happy enough with that( i had deactivated and reactivated the safety etc) and for such a quick sale tis fair enough. end of the goblin experience...
  3. i think it could work. in fact its the sort of thing i think about, currently thinking of soing some form of carpentry course that could help with such skills... so today rather than just thinking about it i started on the wooden grip for my shotgun as the long plastic one is doing my head in. after a lot of drilling filing etc it finally kinda fits(really should have picked a bigger bit of wood in the first place...) but it now fits smugly. looks crap like but it hasnt been shaped yet so hopefully before i go to my evening extra gig ill shape it a bit and maby get it finished, if not i should on friday...... tis already an improvement though...
  4. also a bump does anyone know where to get a short stock as i broke the one on my super 90 and whilst ive been given a long one that does the job ideally i want a shorty...
  5. hate glocks unfortunately, lol. soz on that one. am currently thinking of the sig...
  6. as ive been having issues with my m9 of one version or another for a while ive been considering what pistol to get next for a long time. now this is constantly changing. but recently ive been running a shotgun which has lead me to rethinking a semi auto pistol, and whilst i wouldn't even look at an auto gas pistol, im re looking at aeps. sure they are low in the fps side of things but meh the adjustable hopup should more than make up for it next to my fixed one in my m92. size of mags may well be helpful when im trying to run light with the shotty. no blowback but you get that. so whats your thoughts? am i just probably about to waste money or am i doing the right thing considering our super reliant weather?
  7. this on any gun is bound to annoy ed... http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_Silencers_Madbull_Noise_Maker_14mm_CCW.htm
  8. well i could just take out our shotguns and fire off if i was looking the empty cartridges. just looking to know where the best value airsoft shotgun shells can be reliably got...
  9. its probably gonna depend on why/where from the mag is leaking. in theory gas mags should be of similar design just differing shapes and sizes for the guns. problem being if its not well made itll take more to fix...
  10. where do you guys reccomend getting airsoft shotgun shells( preferably tm ones but supposedly asg ones work too) as im hoping to fill a shotgun belt with them if i can get them cheaply enough. currently its working at £3 a shell which would be ok if i didnt need near 30 and dont really want to spend that much on them... anyone? caus ethis belt will look even more awsome with more shell on it...
  11. just search on youtube how to fix a leaking gas mag. can try adding gun specifics if you want but there should be something to help such as..
  12. yea they are a nice gun, in theory. after my struggle to get parts i really cant say id ever advise getting one.
  13. decided to repaint my aug...
  14. only problem is knowing when its hit(if shot from outside of the camera angle. i rember seeing an airsoft sentry gun that had a target built in that when shot knocked it off for a certain time period...
  15. you say that like you think a sten is beautiful...
  16. was more thinking a box mag like lmgs use....
  17. drum mag on the side perhaps? i think it could be done well if you dont just slap one thing on and think it works on it own. id love to do a tactical tommy properly, not rails but modern pistol styled grip, red dot sight built to fit to where the rear metal sight is, a stock thats shorter and maby more like modern sniper ones(slightly collapsable) and under barrel either rail for grip or something like an aug grip. metal work other than that is untouched... only other thing is probably to much hassle, to bring the fire slector triggers lower so they are usable by the trigger hand...
  18. another vote for the g+gs here. not much of a problem with mine and is easily the best shooting gun i own atm. yes im out shot by other guns, but only by ones that have have lots of upgrades done on em. if you are not wanting to take it appart etc for a while its definitely the place id recommend starting...(plus we didnt have to downgrade it to match our 328 fps limits over here as it was shooting fine outta the box...)
  19. ive been thinking, what if the lense was heated itself so that air didnt condense on it? something similar to the defog on rear car windows. course the heated thing infront of your eyes might be uncomfortable but at the same time, chances of this being workable?
  20. i intend to at some point get an ak and a g36 at some point. think a new pistol is higer in priority though atm...
  21. me likey. wonder how hard that stuff is to fit.(hollow out stock for battery, grip for motor)
  22. yea the tommy is a fiddly brute to take apart and i really wouldn't recommend taking apart a brand new gun, get em to do it for ya then you arnt invalidating your warranty. it is a lovely gun like and i was able to get mine in a sale and has served me well too. taken a few bangs that im pretty sure would have snapped my other guns with barely a scratch on it. just when you get it make sure the main body screws are tight to reduce wobble. id probably recommend looking at the wooden furniture version/ looking for the furniture in the future as it would really make the gun. oh and it can take large battery quite comfortably in that massive stock space...
  23. heres where im not at with my guns. needs more pistols me thinks...
  24. agree, though you have to think that thank goodness its an island population too so if the infection starts in europe we have a natural defence to slow it down getting here, unless they figure out how to swim ala pirates of the carribean style... inwhich case we are all in trouble no matter where you go...
