GiantKiwi got a reaction from cavninja in Green gas vs Propane price comparison.
Ambient Temp dependent.
A Colemans Propane Bottle will do roughly -
30 on GHK G5 Mags
35 on Prowin V2's
20-30 on WE M4 Mags
35-40 on WE SMG8 Mags
30-40 on G&P PMags
20-25 KWA Vector Mags
A WE Green Gas will do roughly -
15 - G5
15-20 - Prowin
10-15 WE M4 Mags
15 - SMG8 Mags
20 - PMags
~10 - Vectors
These are all taken from practice, Propane, even with colemans tanks works out a helluva lot cheaper. However, quite a few sites near me for example, have blanket bans on Propane for BS reasons (basically to sell their own stock at exorbitant prices)
The other thing you've got to factor in, with mags with exceptionally long gas times (cough, vector) the WE Green fill tip actually freezes shut, rendering the can unusable, where as using the AI propane adapter, negates the problem as its made from polymer rather than metal. Oh and the Madbull adapter, steer well clear of, its junk.

A slight rework of the front end on the WE. More is happening, but that is when my bank account isn't looking so empty..
Oh and because the rail is so long, tried to see how many sights could be attached just for the hell of it. (All borrowed from site shop for the photo, hence the tags still on).

Invisiblesight AN/PEQ15, bank manager not happy!
the IR laser is like a lightsaber when viewed through NVG though... so it's kinda worth it

GiantKiwi got a reaction from jeffery7466 in Any WoT players?
5x XP weekends seem to bring out all the numpties on WoT, So yesterday I got a ridiculous win in my Super Pershing. 8629xp, 11 kills, Ace Tanker, Mastery, Sharpshooter, Steel Wall (potential damage received was 9k including bouncing an SU152 3 times at point blank), Invader and Pool's (there were more, but those are the ones i can remember) - Total Damage was over 7k including a Tiger II I set on fire causing an essentially 1 hit kill - No Prammo at all.

No shooting in the stairwells at a CQB site? People need to man up if thats a concern But the first rule mentioned? Won't be going there, that is a pathetic rule.

GiantKiwi reacted to Zak Da Mack in Site rule
Well, that rule is a load of tosh. I could also see a guy who's shooting someone, but it's falling short, then calling over a marshal (who may be a good friend) and say "I could move up slightly and take him out, but I CBA to do so, can you do the tactical kill on him so I don't have to move my fat ass?"

I like that style of grip. I use an AFG on my rifle and its designed to be held that way. My block II M4 is pretty front heavy and holding it like that is far more comfortable than arm further in. Much quicker to aquire targets too as it gives much better "pointability" and control.

GiantKiwi reacted to M_P in Ares Amoeba Honey Badger
Doesn't matter though, even the limited recoil of airsoft moves the gun slightly putting you slightly off target, anything to reduce that is a benefit. Not hugely but a bit nonetheless.
I find that it reduces the amount of sway in a gun a pretty large amount too. Normally you have the vast majority of the weight of the rifle supported by just the very bottom, holding the gun further out and higher up reduces that somewhat, kind of like holding a hockey stick- if you held just the bottom, it's got more mass that can become unstable, hold it half way and it's much less likely.
I don't hold rifles in the full-on thumb over bore style but I tend to hold them much further forward than normal, since my old m14 gave me no choice but to do that as the weight was so far forwards I just carried it over onto pretty much every things else, it's more tiring over extended periods but definitely keeps the rifle more solidly planted in the shoulder.

Hmm, That price range plonks you squarely on Sennheiser HD429's, you won't get any worthwhile wireless ones sub £200 (PS4 ones are not bad, but they don't work with PC's), If you had a slightly bigger budget, I'd say stretch to Beyer Dynamics DT770's, i've got the Pro's as my headphones to take to LAN's, and they've performed admirably, especially as I often mute the in game sound and listen to music

Really? D: My old pair were amazing! This upsets me muchly! I'll have to look at something else - in terms of them needing to be optimised for gaming, they're more for general use as well as gaming so I'm just looking for all round reasonable quality. Seen some good Seinheisser sets for about the same price - the only other thing I think I might want so far would be a set of wireless headphones for when I'm in the mancave performing my great manly works (wires of course not being conducive to extreme manliness).
Any recommendations for an upper budget of £50?
I've got fairly medium sized hands but I'm used to smaller mice so don't think it'll be an issue (I already have carpal tunnel as well, if anything, more carpal tunnel would be nice 'cause then my doctor might pull his finger out his anus and do something for me on that).

Slowly getting there -
AFG arrives sometime this week, and then just need to order the WML. Then remove the MBUS.
