  1. G&G mock suppressor and my 2 extra midcaps arrived, and I was expecting them on monday
  2. Getting PCS kit on tuesday :)

  3. Just got myself: 1 OD Bulle Recon fleece 2 Bulle patches (dark side meter and pirate flag) £41.47 off Flecktarn And; 2x GR16 midcaps 1 OD fleece hat 1 basic double screw sound suppressor (MP5 barrel extension, here I come...) £58.47 off ProAirsoftSupplies. About 12p shy off £100. Nice. Funny story about the payment; I found a check for £100 addressed to myself from a relative in an old christmas card (getting the xmas decorations out of the loft etc) it's dated 12/12/2010
  4. You're not running out of ammo any time soon sam!

  6. Nice one joe, welcome to the addictive world of buying gear! Don't get addicted to purchasing all the glittery stuff though!
  7. You're good to go mate What's going on there dude? Joint present from both of them?
  8. 'Run, it's the correction police!'
  9. Go through all this gearbox hassle, and what should break but the motor crimp contact!

Oh christ I swear I've broken every single crimp contact with every gearbox that I've had. Glad I gave up on AEGs,for me GBBs are easier and more fun to work on, even if the spring hide and seen becomes frustrating. To combat that I just stick the trigger mechs into a plastic bag,let go and let them poof. Re-assembly is future Me's problem.

Got some en route via fleabay- box of 10 in case I screw any more up :D

Turns out they come in packets of 25- even more room for error! :D

  10. That's an SD6, the A5 is much smaller than an M4- it's even smaller than my M933!
  11. That's a damn big torch for a little MP5 you could get yourself something a little more compact, Cree Q5s are pretty damn good, very compact and extremely cheap off Fleabay.
  12. Exactly what I'm going to do, it just needs a little reconditioning first
  13. Ian's right there, I can get silly range with my Cyma made MP5- and the only non-stock part in it is a Madbull TBB!
  14. You'd have to measure it up for me Ian- the measurements I need are in my MP5 thread. Firesupport are asking for £31 for an Ares one- I can't find G36K OBs on other retailers I trust.
  15. That idea's probably gone down the drain now lol. I could always just do this though: Just need to find myself a longer outer barrel and I'd be laughing. edit: the outer barrel is off a G36K. Not sure how it'll work with my MP5 but I'm willing to give it a shot.
  16. Fair enough mate, I'll just have to improve my Google-fu and try to find the parts elsewhere But yeah, I completely understand. I knew I wasn't going to get the first stage of my DMR project done like that Epic, no? I'm going to be using my MP5 as a base for a DMR project I'm starting next year- I really like the MP5 design, and I need to make it a lot larger so people won't get arsey about an SMG size DMR. Plus that long MP5 I posted on here looks a lot more interesting than AR15 or SR25 based DMRs.
  17. The Doctor Who anniversary episode was actually mildly disappointing for me. Anyone else feel this?

I think it needed to be longer. Should have been 2 parts or something. Then they could of made sense of *spoiler* rather than just making them *spoiler* everything. Plus they would have had more time for the *spoiler* *spoiler* stuff.

I liked it. Some clever ideas in there. Looking forward to Xmas and the new Doctor though...

i liked it but due to the lack of other stuff on tv that i enjoy thats not a suprise. was better than sheild....

  18. Yeah, I had some suspicions about it after I was outranging all the other MP5 users at my local site, knowing the magic of the TM hops- but yeah, now there's just the small matter of finding and buying a TM G3SG1 front end :/ I may be fishing here but... trinityadam, would you be able to sell your G3's front end? I can't find the damn parts anywhere. I understand if you don't want to, I wouldn't
  19. As we're on subject now- I'm still looking to make an MP5/G3 hybrid. Anyone know which manufacturer the Cyma MP5 is cloned from? Thinking of replacing my current front set (outer barrel, gas tube, cocking handle, front sight, handguard etc) with that of a G3's- kinda like this :
  20. Anyone know much about WE Browning HP pistols?

      M_P

They're not very good, and that's from a retailer who specialises in WE.

  22. I've got a WebTex copy of that which I picked up for £15 on ebay (in near new condition) as compared to £40 for a factory fresh one. Very, very good, I use it for field excersizes etc. Only problem I have with it is that the utility size pouches on it have an opening smaller than my mess tins, so I have to use the map pouch for them. Suits me anyway since I need the utility pouches for water bottle, mug, gas, cooker, lighter, spoon etc.
  23. Considering doing a vegetato overhaul on my current combat clothing...

May as well, I've been meaning to shift from DPM stuff for a while just haven't had the motivation

  24. What will 5.11 think of next? How about tactical kilts: http://www.military1st.co.uk/clothing-kilts/ taking breathability to a whole new level...

You never know, film companies doing a modern adaptation of braveheart or highlander might need a huge supply for all the extras...
