Just a heads up about the airsoft show, I bought my ticket before I knew better so will see you there on the sunday, but I hear its full of idiots such as JustBBguns who are trying to impress the neighbouring shooting show, who are all in tweed and flatcaps, so take anything you hear from the stallholders with a pinch of salt. -
Lone Survivor was amazing. Best "new" film I've seen recently, first thing I've enjoyed since BHD.

Yeah I was thinking about the MOD restrictions putting a hold on that. I think one key thing will be getting cover and firing positions set up well, my local site is absoulutely shocking as far as thats concerned, everything thats meant to be defended has no firing points that are of any use and it just makes play frustrating, basically if you go inside a building you will end up dead because you cant react to contacts lol. You'll have to find a balance between cover/firing postions being useful and realistic but also (as unlogical as it would be in combat) balanced which is the hardest part. Theres a fine line between them being useful to the occupier, and impossible for the attacker to take . -

Tier 1 (I believe) who are a well established mil-sim company pay collectors to drive their vehicles around for the weekend I think. Don't quote me on it though, it may have been another company. I think you could do with looking up the Berget events, something like that in the UK would have people travelling from all over! I also think a good realism feature would be securing rights for players to dig foxholes, build up their own little emplacements within reason, and have them filled in after the event. There is a site in wales somewhere which allows this IIRC, would allow you to allocate field engineers into the teams, perhaps even have a few .50 cal's made up and allocated per team but this would be expensive. Would you be able to get your hands on Comms? Tier one signs out raidos to sections I think, giving each section a radio man which helps with the immersion. -
I do the same with my ALICE gear RE the paracord UTJ, it's actually was Special forces used to do also to save on weight by removing all metal clips and replacing them with paracord equivalents, also helped with noise lol.

Cheers Sam, will pick one of them up. Ordered a Flyye one from Japan and got a completely different colour to the picture, cheeky git wants me to pay the return postage and if i do thats been £40 postage to recieve and send back something I dont want, more than the thing was worth to begin with lol!

Is that the tan "Peca" from EBairsoft mate? If it is, whats the quality like? I'm tempted to get one for my FR kit but the price is making me feel like it's too good to be true.

Last time I asked Zeroone for a price match they got back to me within 2 hours and matched it. Suppose it depends on the item and how busy they are on the day -
Anyone know where I can get some 3" or 76mm OD PVC pipe in something like a metre length? All I can find is 2m, and the one 1m I found wanted 25 quid postage for an 11 quid bit of pipe!

If anyone has or see's any cheap madbull XMPB4's for sale or any 40mm grenades for that matter let me know please, going to get the M72 project in swing. Also, why are nerf footballs a tenner? was not expecting that lol

In the morning before we get onto the field, everyone is chrono'd and given a cable tie, I think any old ones have to be removed, I've only been once since this policy was adopted due to taking a break from airsoft. They then do random chronos throughout the day, I agree its not a very fool proof method but they're getting better on it. Previously it was just a chrono in the morning and nothing else despite warnings of random chronos on their website. Someone nearly losing their eye gave them a kick up the arse.
