To stop the cases cracking at the pin point buy the rear sling mount. The metal bracket secures the pin to it and eases pressure off the frame. I’ve got one fitted after breaking mine and it’s been great since.

Did you not try the trigger mod?

I had in my DMR way back. I liked the bucking. Took some fiddling to make sure it was centred and it didn’t like SUPER heavy BB’s. It did shoot straight and far though

It’s a shame really. Not having the features and upgrade options of the others is the only reason I’ve not bought one. Might as well buy any of the other ebb g36’s for half the price. The WE gbbr version is still king for me

I always found it bizarre that the g36 recoil didn’t have half of the features the AR/ scar platforms did.

Fix for the dead trigger: Either tape the car or add a bit of material to the trigger. Either half a mm of epoxy or cut some thin plastic/paper and glue it.

When I got mine (also used and abused) it was bog standard and firing 348 on propane. It was very consistent but far too close to the limit for my liking on a GBBR. The gas routers are probably upping the FPS as well as the nozzle. I’d try to stick to standard where possible. I wouldn’t have cut the recoil spring. You can mod the arm to make the lock more reliable. Theres also a mod to fix the dead trigger where the bolt doesn’t come forward enough to engage.

I like the look of some painted guns, but I can’t bring myself to paint my own. Always seems to make the gun worth less if you come to sell it.

It shouldn’t do. It’s a little heavier as @bapexxx said, but it shouldn’t make a noticeable difference. It’s always worth changing because the plastic Mws one is prone to breaking (apparently. I’ve never experienced it personally). I’ve always ran the standard spring and bcg on the basis of don’t fix what isn’t broken. People have had good results with light weight BCG’s though. You’ll loose some felt recoil in exchange of a snappier gun

if you're gonna go for an angry gun buffer, bet the high speed one (black one). its a bit heavier than standard, but not stupid. i had the silver super recoil one once.. massive recoil increase, but it slowed the cycling dramatically and made it less efficient. Angry gun high speed or the G&P buffer is what I'd lean towards.

are these all brand new mags? I've been filling mine up for over a year with propane on standard valves and i can't work out why people have issues.

Never ran them personally but I know a guy with an MTR who’s had nothing but problems with them from fitment to gassing out. They’re like the 20 round mags. Buy 1 if you want to take a picture for a look, but nothing beats the original 35 rounders for in game.

mine's not arrived yet but ive ordered the vortex too. Worth it all day long in my opinion. never loose zero because it's real steel and the warranty is fantastic. Why sped £50 on an airsoft replica that'll either break or get shot out. I can shoot out a vortex and they'll just give me a new one, no questions asked.

They’re very snappy. Can easily use them in woodland the range on them is that good.

Already ordered. I thought the pre order thing may have been old as I know they did have some in stock. Not to worry though because I’m still waiting on a holster anyway.
