The modify tan is a great bucking and a good choice for the orga and SixG nub. Seems like the orga barrel window doesn’t like long contact patches like the TNT or maple leaf.
Looks great! I noticed the same thing with the mk18 rail, that it has the potential to rotate slightly because the tabs are about 2-3mm wider than the receiver.
You tend not to notice any real improvement unless you use heavy BB’s. For CQB though, .28’s are more than enough for the short ranges and lack of wind
Not sure, but it doesn’t look quite as black irl. It came on an mws I bought. They said it was a madbull. I know it’s not a Nuprol one because I have a black one of those and the rail markings ar different.
Can’t say I’ve noticed any of mine doing it. Might be worth stripping the nozzle down. Sometimes you can save them if they’re just starting to kink a bit.
Some great pictures there 👍. I’m debating if I should change mine or not. It’s currently covered without Vltor CASV stuff. Keep it as it is or go L119a2?
I considered multiple uppers but ended up with multiple rifles instead 😂. It is easy to have multiple uppers on a gbbr because the lower is essentially untouched. You may need to mod the selector so it’s semi only or have multiple.
That’s correct. Madbull, Carbon fibre mod0 front end, PRI top rail, VFC flash hider, VFC mk12 suppressor, a2 stock, replica lapould scope.. Grip is a modern contraption.
Its the insides that are magical 😉
Nothing quite says how well a gun performs than when you hand it to people throughout the game day to have a play with and they all say “how?” When the see how far the BB goes.
i ran out of ammo I had that much of a target rich environment and I was just too high and far away that nobody on the opposite team could hit me. Figured it take a little picture of the godly thing.
Before you change anything, chrono it on .30’s and get a baseline for joules. The SixG nub and modify tan works well at any FPS. I’ve ran it in my 310fps CASV and in a 400 FPS DMR with great success.
Take the nozzle out of the BCG, clean out the insides and wipe it down with silicone oil and a little bit on the piston cup/sealing thingy. Over time it can get a little dry and hurt consistency
I’ve got a one off hop arm in mine. It runs fine on lighter ammo, just saying it has the ability to lift any BB.
My Casv Mws is 310fps on a .20. I run that on .32-.36
have you tried the TNT TR bucking? Very similar to the maple leaf but squared like an R hop instead of pointed. What I think is happening in terms of the damaged maple leaf is it applies more pressure to the tip of the mound than the back because of where the end of the arm is. I tried using the wonder bucking which doesn’t have the tab as I initially thought it might be pushing the bucking forward onto the barrel lip, but that didn’t seem to fix it either so I abandoned it for the modify tan. For the FPS and the lift required for sub .36 bb’s there’s little if any gain to be had from a maple leaf. Particularly when it’s not completely drop in.
What are your specs? And FPS? I’m running 400 FPS on a .20 no idea on joules because I’ve not settled on a BB weight yet. I’ve tested it with .45’s and it will happily send them into orbit😂. Technically it’s an ER hop as the window has been enlarged.
i had great success with the maple leaf, but the tip of the contact area seemed to get damaged after very little use. I figured it was cutting into the tip of the barrel window. I run them in WE GBBR’s though.
Yes a custom machined, R hopped barrel currently in my mk12 for initial testing. Id have posted results but there’s been gale force winds and none stop rain for the past 3 weeks. What I can tell you is it shoots further than my Kingdom of airsoft Real sword svd which has 30 more FPS.
