I’ve not managed to use it much yet to be honest with all of this corona crap. Build quality is good externally and internally it’s an A&K which are quite robust. Its VERY heavy though and quite awkward to hold because the width of the box mag makes it difficult to position your left arm on the grip. I’ve currently put a bullgear cnc hop chamber in it which is a VAST improvement on the standard and a the bullgear mag insert which has a stronger, adjustable feed motor and better designed space. The gun currently holds 7500 rounds. never had the rpk, but they’re like a big AK so ease of use will be much better. Having said that... won’t it be a V3 gearbox? They aren’t build for sustained rate of fire like the 249/pkm gearboxes.

Sold it to my mate and regretted it immediately. He takes good care of it though.

What have I missed?

The top one is a GR-60 training grenade. By all accounts, they’re so loud you can feel the shockwave even if you’re outside in woodland. Inside it will make you feel sick lol. below is a T12 thermal imager that I’m going to either side mount or is a flip to the side on my mws.

Agreed, but I’d argue an LMG platform should still have a more ‘industrial’ gearbox than the one presented. Only time will tell if it survives long term use as standard.

Without meaning to state the obvious.. just run the standard bolt. Angry gun is very hit and miss

Seen a few FB posts on it remarking on the range and low rate of fire. My personal worry is the look of the gearbox. At 11rps at 290fps it might not be a problem, but I can’t see that surviving when people put 350 FPS springs in it and having continuous fire. (Assuming it’s the usual zinc alloy gearbox monkey metal)

Well unless that’s CNC’d aluminium and not crappy cast stuff, that design doesn’t fill me with much confidence. The CA/A&K m249/m60/PKM gearbox is a tank of a thing compared to that

I use the plumbers/welders propane I guess you’d call it. Usually rothmans branded I think. Cans are tall like a GG can but thicker.

It appears to be getting slated online. 30m range. Having to lob to get near 50m apparently. I don’t think that split inner barrel was a good idea.

Airsoft innovations. The tan coloured plastic one. Done the green gas mod (cutting the tubes down, not removing). Nothing to the valve itself.

Mine ran great at the night game on Saturday. 4 degrees and briefly snowing ran on propane topped up with some Mapp gas. The modify tan does seem to wear down quicker, but the results are great. I think I’ll get the other modify bucking and run some tests. I’ll post up what results I get.

That’s plan B. The plug looks like it’s a 2.5mm jack where the dual pressure switch is a 1.5 jack. A friend of mine is going to attempt to solder the end I need onto the switch. I don’t trust myself to that extent with a soldering iron.

Dbal a2 and a pressure switch that doesn’t bloody fit it 😑
