Get out and use it, decide whether or not the gun is limiting your performance or if you are the limiting factor and then AND ONLY then start looking into performance or aesthetic enhancing modifications. Buying stuff now could well turn out to be a waste of time, effort and money.

Is that definitly a Mk18, rail looks like the 12" RIS II? or maybe its just me. Looks more like a block II m4. Nice all the same
 
Edit: It is a Mk18, think its just the angle making it look longer

Regardless of the amount of tarting up 450' just can't be done with a 6mm bb that weighs less than 0.5g.

The theoretical maximum distance you could reasonably get based on that is 300', that's with a 3.35j gun (600 fps with a .20) and it requires a 6' holdover!
 
In short, 450' is bullshit.

I think it's widely accepted that the best sniper so far was made by Corporal Craig Harrison's mum and dad.

Sprayed the Katana at NAE, wanted to Afgan and back to the barrel & stock but I forgot white spirit and Southern Comfort didn't work.

To be honest a lot of people will tell you that you have to have something short for CQB. Now, I'm not about to tell you that an M14 is fine (although I have seen it done and an M16) but anything as long as a standard M4 will be fine for CQB. It's not the size of your gun, it's how you use it (oo-er).

MAG 190 rounders. Im yet to see a gun they havnt worked in.

The G&G SCAR is a solid gun and I even found one for you in a sea of out of stocks.
