If I had the money to replace the plastic furniture, I'd do it in a hearbeat.. Same with purchasing a POSP scope that is actually decent. I would if you like the amount of upgrades out there to choose from, but I like the magazine in the correct place and the use of AEG buckings, barrels and springs in the SVD.

I disagree, the plastic's that A&K use for their SVD's are fine, can definitely withstand some abuse, and if you have the money then there are woodkits available. If you're talking about A&K's anyway...

Air rifles will be much cheaper, more reliable and much more accurate than a £60 plastic gbb pistol. If you're still set on a gas pistol, get an ASG MK23, normally costs around £60, it's accurate, it won't fall apart after afew uses, and if you decide you want to start skirmishing then it's a great side arm.
