Dont forget what brand it is... It may be good, but it seems as though with WE, you either just get a sh*t gun or its relatively okay... hopefully this will be good though

^^ Not necessarily and it seems they've been putting a lot of work into this and they're most definitely not rushing it (first sneak peek was like 4 years ago)

Im not saying its going to be bad for definate... Like you say, theyve been working on it for a long time.... It just seems as though WE are a bit inconsistent.

  2. Cyma M4's are notoriously bad. Have a look at ICS and G&G.
  3. WE P226's are very good pistols, much like their Glocks.
  4. I'm assuming you fired it with a battery that has little to no charge. In that case, get something to release the anti-reversal latch.
  5. I've got a few bits that might help: First off, the best thing to do is to upgrade your power source (the magazines) here's a few bits: Magazine shims, these'll help with gas efficiency. http://www.leesprecision.com/products/laser-cut-mag-shim-pack-of-4-tokyo-marui-pistols A better quality gas route seal will also help with efficiency, and is easy to install. http://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/573/s/laylax-nineball-magazine-gas-route-seal-aero-packing-2-pcs-for-hi-capa-p226-series/ This tool is essential when replacing o-rings on the gas inlets/outlets incase the magazine happens to leak after a while. http://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/we-gas-magazine-valve-key-tool.html And we do love o-rings. These are probably better quality than the WE o-rings. http://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/gas-blowback-parts/Tokyo-Marui-Magazine-Parts.html/Lees-Precision-Tokyo-Marui-Pistol-Magazine-Repair-Kit.html Now, parts for the pistol: The WE bucking is ok, but there are better one's out there, like this one. http://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/570/s/laylax-nineball-wide-use-air-seal-chamber-packing-for-vsr-l96-gbb-series/ Replace the barrel with a tightbore, you'll get a bit of a fps boost and some slightly better range / accuracy, remember to clean it before you put it in your gun. http://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/1479/s/laylax-nineball-6-00mm-power-barrel-97mm-for-g17-g18c-p226-gbb-series/ A stronger recoil and hammer spring will make the gun a lot snappier, if you're not sure about taking your gun apart then avoid this. http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=3660 Hope that helps.
  6. Here we go again: Ordered a AirsoftPro reinforced piston for my SVD, the swap-able piston head is a nice feature.
  7. Steel sear arrived, as I expected, it's just a heavy lump of steel. More stuff to come.
  8. Got a response, said they'll have a look into it tomorrow.
  9. Good choice. Did it come with a motor?
  10. Anyone know how long postage takes? Ordered a silencer adapter for my SVD last week but nothing's turned up.
  11. Ordered a scope on Saturday and it's arrived today, they even included a rubber eye piece worth £8 for free! Free postage too again. Excellent service once again.
  12. Been a while since I posted on here, here's my current primary, ICS L86. Still trying to find a sight that won't look weird on it.
  13. PPS steel trigger sear for my SVD for £12 instead of £20 for a AirsoftPro sear.
  14. Alrighty, you should source a boneyard VSR and use the parts from that, because purchasing the parts seperatly will end up costing you more than the rifle you intend to convert to a springer.
  15. Ah, uhh.. Hmm... I assume that this is a clone of the Marui, so I wonder if you could drop in a new spring bolt.
  16. Some details/pictures of the sniper would help.
  17. Thought they used M4 type hop up units?

    ASG Glock 19?

Solutions: Get yourself some magazine shims. They create a better seal between the piston and the gas outlet valve. ( http://www.leesprecision.com/products/laser-cut-mag-shim-pack-of-4-ksc-kwa-glock-series ) Purchase a new piston/nozzle, the old one might be worn out. Give it a thorough clean and re-grease. ASG Glocks are OEMd by KWA/KSC, so Marui parts won't fit/work.
  19. Don't think so, if in doubt, ask them to write your UKARA number on the box. http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/24576-ehobby-asia-vs-aegcart-asia/?hl=%2Behobby+%2Basia http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/21646-mags-from-ehobbyasia/?hl=%2Behobby+%2Basia#entry151654 http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/20785-best-retailer-to-buy-from-vote/?hl=%2Behobby+%2Basia#entry144013
