  1. As above basically. If the high power mode on your fan goggles does the job then I find it's best to just stick with that, avoid any other products in the mix. If you're THAT much of a fogger then yeah probably just don't mix brands to play it safe.
  2. The L85? I've changed a few dozen flash eliminators in my time, the end of the barrel is cut with a thread.

  4. Actual shotgun barrels that fire shot down them can, comparatively, be notoriously weak when put up against any pistol or rifle barrel; just blasting airsoft grade blanks shouldn't really test any steel that's not just chinese factory floor scrapings mushed together.
  5. Yep 'GEN M3' i.e. Gen 3. PTS did Gen 1 and 2 PMAGs and the EMAG when they had the license from Magpul, but lost said license before the M3 was released, hence the fictional EPM line. There's Gen 3 mag replicas for AEGs out there as you've seen from various airsoft brands under all sorts of funky airsoft names, just gotta click the AEG mag section of a few stores and squint at all the pics. Beta Project offerings were definitely a budget line alongside the proper PTS mags back in the day, I reckon they might've been STAR/ARES OEM. When PTS had the license their Magpul mags were in £15+/ea (or whatever the early 10s price equivalent would be to an EPM now taking in to account COVIDflation) but were fantastic in both plastic construction and feeding/function, whereas it was something like £30-40 for a pack of 6 Beta mags that look 'the same' but they were a cheaper plastic and were all over the place in terms of whether they actually worked or not. I got an 40 rnd style Gen M3 purely for pics, think it's ARES.. maybe CYMA. It is, mediocre, but the plastic is ok at least and it'll probably feed a few rounds.
  6. Nice one, takes real AR grips? Might have to copy ya with that Reptilia if I get one. I think you've got the Lambda GHM? Which is a different original manufacturer to the Maruyama (VFC) SCW (APC9). TLAs!
  7. F-S has old school plastic TM MP5s (solid stock) for a low low price atm.  If I had the room I'd grab one but alas, hope someone here is after a dead reliable AEG that you just never have to touch internally!

  8. Nice, what do you reckon? I'm hovering on the idea of getting the Glock mag version. Feels like forever since I've seen a G5, good stuff.
  9. I've been treating mine like The One Ring since like.. 2012 or whenever it was they came out (keep it secret, keep it safe). Hell of a find with the rail and short barrel.
  10. To say the thing they say on reddit: Username checks out.
  11. I really tried/wanted to get one of those kits... 😂 I don't ever check the places that actually stock that type of high end pistol stuff though so that's on me. Probably not a good rabbit hole to go down anyway if I'm being honest (for me personally), but that's a great set mate.
  12. If it weighs more and transfers thermal energy faster, it's probably not gonna perform the same as the plastic gas efficiency wise, can't really beat the science on that one I don't think. But hey if it's close enough and works for you in use then all good end of the day.
  13. I'm liking the 'Restocked' section of a retailer site even more than the 'New Releases' section at this point.

  14. What type of boots out of interest? Presumably surp? I could imagine either the military stores pers or perhaps the contract folks who deal with surplusing things just slapping numbers on like that in the lowest effort/quickest to read method they could come up with. Like to hope that wouldn't be a retailer defacing their own stock like that anyway lol, best of luck getting it cleaned off.
  15. I'm sure the majority of orders do make it and it was PF that sent my stuff to the wrong address end of the day (though 6mm did zero to assist/rectify). Just use Paypal at the very least and remember you have to go to the Help tab along the top to find the Resolution Centre button, open a case, submit everything and then you have to go back in to the case to Escalate it manually in order for PP to review and you get your money back. Wouldn't recommend anyone use the place generally but in this scenario it's a different matter.
  16. If we assume that the majority of players are at least decent and mostly honest (which I'd say is the case) then I'd reckon standard pre-game chrono makes the most sense to highlight any excessive energy shooting that people genuinely aren't aware of and will put lower level cheaters back on the straight and narrow. The ones truly determined to gain some pathetic non-advantage and risk a greater chance of actually hurting people in the process will of course remain undeterred and can make use of the myriad workarounds out there; only diligent marshalling and good player reporting during the game has any chance vs those knobs.
  17. 'The standard' is to turn your hop fully off then just go from the front. Long as you're not using anything abrasive and are careful/gentle/don't go ham fisted at it then it'll be absolutely fine, nothing adverse is going to happen.
  18. Paypal sided with me, got most of my money minus what I paid for shipping, which obviously isn't ideal but a lot better than nothing.
  19. *appears from a smoke screen of multicam black* I'm going from memory and my photo cloud storage, but far as I can see @hitmanNo2 is right. None of my NSPA G4s (either MC or MTP) have the black tape, but my US produced MC G4s have it. I've never really sat down and done a list of like 'GX from Y country on Z year has A tape or B label in C position' etc because honestly I'm not sure even Crye has a master list like that which every item adheres to faithfully. Personally, I've never actually seen a single item so far which was trying to pass itself off as genuine Crye that didn't have typos in the labelling or really badly printed CP logos on the black tape along with other telltale giveaways. For me the pic in the OP is a real item for sure.
  20. Far as I can tell (their english isn't great) they've accused me of lying, but it's ok the case is escalated with paypal now, just awaiting their review. Worst case if paypal don't side with me I'll go through my credit card. Can't emphasise enough how strongly people should avoid this business because they won't even make the slightest attempt to remedy any issue that may occur; they certainly haven't for me I've had to get in contact with parcelforce myself.

Original product listing: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/gp-m16a1-aeg-front-set Includes: -Pencil profile 20" Outer barrel -M16 Triangular handguards -Triangular front handguard retainer cap -Realistic A frame gas block/front sight with relevant pins -A1 Bird cage flash hider -E&C Early style non-tapered Delta ring + barrel nut assembly Was hoping to tart up my E&C M16A1 with this set, alas the outer barrel didn't *quite* fit, would've just needed a bit of sanding. Also the shoulder just behind the gas block/front sight is too small to lock an A2 round handguard cap in place, only holds an A1 triangular cap. I took it out the packet, tried fitting, did keep the barrel nut/delta ring assembly (this listing includes the E&C part) then put it all away in the bag again. No other usage. Outer barrel is way nicer than the E&C otherwise and the triangular handguards are literally in a different galaxy compared to the E&C ones I had. These ones are sturdy and extremely nicely moulded, with heatshields and the two halves fit with each other/on the barrel absolutely perfectly. Price is all-in, ONO.

  22. Used 3 times, only gotten worse with each order. I love the selection but I'll never be using Sixmm again personally. First 2 orders took forever to dispatch, totally mess of a system for dispatch notifications and tracking numbers, seemingly sending multiple small parcels but not providing the details amongst various other little issues. Placed an order for £300 worth of bits about 2 months ago, took weeks to dispatch and again apparently send in about 5 small parcels but with only 1 tracking number. As of now not a single item from the order has arrived, the ParcelForce tracking says delivered but the evidence photo is not my house; lord knows where it is, not any house on my street I can recognise. Contacted sixmm many times and I've never been more royally fobbed off by a business. Nothing but the most pathetic weak-sauce answers to my requests they actually provide me with the goods I paid them for. 'Here look at the tracking, it was defo delivered' 'Check with your neighbour' bla bla bla. I paid through PayPal using my Amex and I'm confident enough that if one of them doesn't get me my money back then the other will.
  23. You'll have to just launch the entire gat right in to the sea at this point mate, sorry!
  24. The SGR is definitely an outlier and not a good one to bring up to debate the general worthiness of TM as a brand I'd say. Like I don't think there's a lot of the original line of bog standard TM AEGs with plastic bodies from the early 00s (ish) still in use, but years ago I can remember meeting a few people who were claiming to have left them stock and fired obscene amounts of bbs through them with little to no parts breakage at all. Also with decent range and accuracy for the low power. I can't say personally I've ever seen someone online regretting buying any of the common NGRS, GBB pistols or rifles, leaving them stock and just using them roughly in line with the way they were designed. They're not perfect and there's a few products that are more complex and more prone to issues, but they're the exception and not the rule for sure.

As the name says really. Standard TACO of the type they made many years ago, had these mounted up but barely used if at all, maybe a game on each. No actual visible signs of use.
