  1. I don't think that is a TM.

TM would say ASGK and Tokyo Marui on it somewhere.

I think it might be a Kwa, which would explain the mags!

How does the hop up adjust on yours?

  2. When you say they didn't fit, what was wrong with them exactly?

I used to have an old 226, and didn't have any issues using the old or E2 mags.

  3. When You wind hicaps it's going to require a lot; typically a few dozen winds. (You'll hear the clicking sound change once you've wound it fully).

I've been out of the P90 game for a while now; could never really get on with them, so I'm unsure on compatibility but these might be a solution:

Midcap style, so no winding and no feed issues that you get with hicaps.

  4. Yes, you need to Dremel them in order to load them via the channel.

Tbh though, I've never had good results using ASG mags, either in a TM MK23 or an ASG, annoyingly.

They've always suffered from feeding issues for me.

If there's enough time for the delivery, and you don't mind a slight change, Warhead Industries do 0.32 and 0.43 bios which you can trust.

I'm not sure if the guns I'm planning on using will lift 0.32s unfortunately, last I remember 0.30s were pretty much the maximum I could lift with my current setup.

Will have to test and see.

As for 0.43s; Its for my bolt actions; I'm hoping not to have to adjust the hopup after I've finally got them all dialed in nicely, but thank you!

I've bought vorsk bbs a few times from various sites and haven't had any problems.

Also bio bbs in general have come along way in the past decade. The days of them swelling up at the slightest bit of moisture and shattering in guns are in the past

    That's good to know!

The only time I've ever had a gearbox explode on me mid-game was when I was using bio-ammo, so I've avoided it where possible since then.

My biggest issue is that I don't use enough in game to empty a bottle in a short time.

I still have a bottle of ammo I'm working through from last spring!

    After that though, I may not need to worry about new ammo just yet;

One of the sites I've been looking at trying in the past is running a game on the 2nd and doesn't require bio ammo so that's probably my best bet for now.

    Thanks for the help though!

  6. I'm looking at visiting some new sites whilst I'm down in the Midlands, and unfortunately a lot of the ones that are running on the days I'm free are bio ammo only.

I've not used bio ammo for about 12 years, with varying success and my local retailer doesn't carry bio ammo in my weight (0.30 and 0.45).

I found vorsk Ammo at a store on my route down, but as I've not heard amazing things about the quality of their pistols, I'm wondering if using their ammo is just asking for trouble.

Does anyone have any experience using them?

  7. I've got one of these, and use it for one of my sniper set-ups.

How well do yours sit when you're wearing them?
Do they feel tight and secure or is there movement and wobble?
Are the mags you're using the normal 30 round design (As in, based on what would be the 30rd mags for a real rifle)?
If so, then you may need to either adjust the bungees to tighten them up, or pad out the bottom of the mag pouch so that the mags sit higher and tighter against the elastic.

My mags are longer than usual; I assume they'd be 40 rounds IRL, so I've had no issues with them coming loose.
Reloading just takes a bit of practice to get it nice and smooth; I pull up and to the side on the bungees and the mags are easy to get out.

Do you have a photo of your rig set up as you'd use it?

  8. Had this in bits due to a dead trigger board for a couple of years, and finally got around to sorting it out.

Acquired a new stock tube and upper receiver rail to complete it, and now have it finished!

Swapped out the gearbox from my full length version which is currently being built up as a DMR to put in this one, along with a PDI 6.05 barrel and 50º Archwick bucking, I'll be looking forward to trying it out!

Brings the total of working VZ58s I have to 4 now.
