That was the main thing with the Modify Tan, its a softer rubber / silicone so first shot and cold shot performance is better than the TM bucking - provided you get a good one, sounds like you have

Its fine to run them 'dry' as long as you keep that piston lubed otherwise yould have cycling issues, then make sure to partially fill the mags with 'maintenance gas' when in storage / not playing with it. The gun will actually be more consistent / accurate with dry gas because the buckings friction will not change depending on how much or little suspended lube gets on it.

Cheers, they again are AK12 mags, thanks to the advise of another member here I can attest the Arcturus mags are far better quality than the LCT ones. The do have a weak point though, the tabs on the bottom that hold the guts in are fragile, you might be able to see that I pinned all of mine to avoid any embarrassing mid game explosions 😂 Heads up shooting is much nicer, especially as a taller person, one of the reasons I like the AK ergonomics so much - they always have a higher sight over bore.

The camera makes them look brighter than they are for sure, that said hopefully they’ll dull down a little once they’ve had a good fingering.

What is your FPS goal and are you running a suppressor? UKASA makes it much easier if buying a new RIF tho, if you not a reinactor or other such. edit: reenactor

I doubt you’ll get it from a hunting shop, it was designed for paintball markers, because of that it is exceptional for pneumatics, you don’t get seal ‘set’ when the gun is pressurised for a long time between shots, not that this happens in GBBRs but my point is it’s extremely slippery and doesn’t dry out or migrate into the bucking easily.

Finally got some 11.1s to fit the AK... FROM FRANCE! Worldwide supply/stock is shocking ATM. Shortened the leads, cloth taped for better abrasion resistance, and some cheeky connector numbering with the iron.

TechT gunsav for air seals - out of stock everywhere, let me know if you find some! And Parker Hale gun oil for metal on metal / trigger pack / charging handle / buffer spring. If you have HSB you’ll have Moly grease on your buffer spring.
