Just take your full valves out, pull out the full tubes and cut them in half, then push them back in. There is absolutely nothing unsafe with this mod. And you've still got genuine TM valves.

With the look of the 'feel' of the gun I think it'd better suit an external silencer of a more military look personally Mmmmmmm UBR Actually just barrel with long hand guards look awesome 👍

Are you wanting to build a military rifle or race gun? I am super keen on the Fortis Rev rail for a lightweight build, plus its right at home for a CQB length rifle. Is that your intended use with the MWS general field and CQB work? I.E. not DMR. The install is easy, there are lots of disassembly videos online To do it nice have a delta ring spanner and a little punch for the 2 front sightpost pins. Make sure to turn the hop adjustment right off before attempting to remove the outer barrel from the upper receiver

With the brass recoil spacer you have it was a nice mild recoil, but fast I'm sure it would help, but I think the gas usage is marginal, it will use less because there's less weight (energy) required to move it.

Yes, I have used the UAC one with an upgraded recoil spring and I though it was great, I personally think the MWS bolt cycle is a little on the sluggish side. This really sharpens it up. Also the weight saving helps gas consumption a little.

Yeh, I have a Magpul MOE handgaurd but you've still got the FSP weight up front, a free float rail that is designed light - like the Fortis or NOVESKE NSR for example - means any weight is kept closer the pistol grip. A Bocca isn't really much lighter than the standard TM RAS system, just a different mounting interface. Don't get me wrong a polymer handgaurd def saves weight. I have a proper Magpul (not PTS) one available 2nd hand if you did want the easiest route

I don't know exactly but it's quite a weight saving, ditching the front sight post (which I know you love), the heavy RAS setup etc. You can also run a Sopmod / Vltor style stock and lead ballast the rear, you can get a much more neutral balance that way.

Get a 7" free float rail on the MWS, that saves loads of weight, in the right place too! I think a Fortis weighs the same as a crisp packet lol!

Do you run a vertical grip? Makes a massive difference when playing for hours! Also do you were a Rig or tactical vest? Single points are way comfy if you attach them to the shoulder, as opposed to round your neck etc. Nicest slings are Vickers Tactical, HSGI or Magpul MS. Yes they are dear but they are wide, quality and secure

You saying about the weight, I was comparing the 417 and MWS, the latter is so pointy and fast in comparison!

Or if your shooting high FPS cutting a length of the BIC ink tube works a treat, it's the correct OD, so cut the exact width of the hop aperture and it will also remain extremely true

So the ML relies totally on the two barrel flats to prevent rotation? The Modify bucking definitely looks very well molded! i don't know why but any Maple products have been toilet for me, maybe I get all the lemons!??
