  1. Wait... I thought Novritch was a brand of rifs, is this a celeb meet day or a come try our wonderful pews day?
  2. Just a simple thought of... Oh, toastie! has led to this question. charging my batteries for Sundays game of playing soldiers, I noticed my lipo's don't seem to get warm when charging (not noticably anyway) , but my Ni-MH's do, so what's the science to this please? for reference I use a Nuprol Power Compact Intellegent charger. it's used on the correct setting for each type of battery (not making that mistake again) & it's never left unattended.
  3. Was thinking this way too, I generally leave my kit in the boot rather than carry it all to a table in the safezone.
  4. Doubt I'd have the puff for full auto.
  5. I only get to skirmish every couple of months due to work and on the 10th I'll be at POW in Scotland, so in preperation for my day I've been setting up my pews, hop, sights etc... got the Scar H, set up nicely but I honestly don't know if I can be arsed with the weight of the pew & mags, think I'll get the XM177 ready tomorrow but at the moment I expect I'll prob use L85 & Mk18 aeg's instead. I know I should use the GBBR's due to the cost but don't know if I want to, convince me/change my mind... please!
  6. TBH, this is the best idea IMO, a few years ago (ok, decades) as a teen in the ATC, we had an evening running around the local links with a capture the base gameplay, was great fun & OMG, having a usable firearm would have been awesome. Show it as it is... honesty is the best policy.
  7. fair enough, sounds like you're better elsewhere.
  8. Purely a coincidence... This appeals to my childish sense of humour & a like this.
  9. WAS Black ops cribbs & Black ops portishead , but not any more , banned for questioning the owner ! What did you question?
  10. I saw some MWS parts in the classifieds earlier.
  11. Has everyone forgotten the point of firing bb's at each other?
  12. sure there's one for sale in the classifieds
  13. Awe, MANNNNN! You've just ruined airsoft for me now, no one said it was exercise.
  14. if this didn't have the arm rest/hook I would never had bought it, that's what makes it a spas-12 to me.
  15. Not a huge fan of shotguns but these 3 are/were on my want list. M870 arrived today courtesy of hoggym4.
  16. Just went for a nosey on your profile (nothing malicious), You already have at least 1 RIF & sidearm, you've made enough posts/comments to know how this thread would go. I'm going to assume you already have an UKARA or had one, just follow the cosplay rules at the event you want to attend. Don't know about any list of retailers but a quick google produced this... https://www.just-cos.co.uk/ This is an airsoft forum & we occasionally have non airsoft questions like this that often turn sour in the replies. Not sure if you would be required to buy insurance for your hobby but it's certainly worth while spending a little time at an airsoft site to attain an UKARA registration (not a permit or a license) which will at least provide you with a 'defence' for having an imitation firearm, in my short time as an airsofter it's become apparent that some people (airsofter, cosplayers, reenactors) have fallen foul of UK law and provided the media with a very easy story (true or ficticious) which casts a very big shadow over our hobby. What ever you decide to do please be aware of cosplay rules regarding firearms at events, enjoy yourself & be safe. I'll repeat myself... it's certainly worth while spending a little time at an airsoft site to attain an UKARA registration, you'll probably find out you enjoy the experience, most of us dress up as a character when playing, some as milsim & some as ballerina's with pew pew's. You could appear at almost any site you'll have a mix of giggles & interest in equal measure in your direction but we all enjoy our day & you might become the first T-Rex badass at the site you chose to attend.
  17. The one I've ordered is a 'modern' version with picatini rail on top, I have a plan to have it as close as I'm prepared to go without spending a fortune. The end result will be posted in the gun pic topic. A slim classic hand guard will be fitted at some point... just not straight away.

  20. Just ordered a claw mount, got an ICS MP5 due from JinxDuh & have an SL-20 sitting in my spares 'box' ready to get fitted ala Iranian embassy stye. It'll never be a perfect clone but will make me happy.
  21. Duh... it's a springer, no need for direct impingement.
