  1. A quick question for those who have npas fitted, is it easily adjustable? I imagine I'll need to remove the bolt to adjust or is it possible via the ejection port?
  2. Checked my XM177 thinking it might have npas fitted as it's newer & bought new but sadly no... 2 WE npas kits ordered.
  3. No but looks easy enough to install so got a couple on their way via t'internet.
  4. Is the name dropee an age related thing?
  5. Well, where do I start? Probably 30 mins before I actually got there TBH, the site is right on my doorstep so I have no excuses. Crono'd my Scar-H GBBR on 2.5's & it was too hot for the site tried it on 2's with the same result, safety brief was called just as I was muttering FFS under my breath so after the safety brief I took out my Scar-L AEG from the boot of my car & it crono'd just on or under the site limit so played a game using that, got a couple of kills & respawned a couple of times but I wasn't really feeling the motivation to continue & felt I was nursing a sore back a bit much to enjoy my day. I'd taken my Scar-H GBBR, XM177 GBBR, Scar-L AEG, but by my last respawn I'd already decided to give the day a miss, so took my pews to the range with extra gas, extra batteries & extra bb's where I spent the next hour or so flinging 3's, 2.5's & some 2's down range. Despite not fielding the GBBR's I definitely felt the AEG to be a bit Meh in comparison to the plinking I'd already done with the GBBR's. On a positive note, the GBBR's had good range although I need to set the hop on the XM177, & I collected a few of my other pews from our local tech which I played about with too... An L85A1 was in for a wee fix & is now shooting with fantastic range, realistically 50m but bb's were going past the 60m & pretty close to the 70 mark but with no accuracy (yet), an SL8/9 was in for a repair as it was firing on full auto despite being a semi (now a single shot only & range was almost as good as the L85), an AR57 was a bit hot but shoots pretty good now (Mag changes were awkward but I recon a change of sights with sort that) & lastly a G36 was ok but nothing special (will never be fielded anyway). Not a 100% successful day TBH but these things happen, next chance to play soldiers will be in March.
  6. POW M8 Yeah been a good day today too. Already had the first hiccup, replacing my sa80 pouches for sharpshooters, the Scar mags fitted but were far to tight, all sorted now.
  7. Just less spray & pray. I'm 6'4" & just as wide... they'll know where I am anyway. Got 5 for each GBBR & a million hicaps for my AEG's. And an odin with adaptor for my XM177 mags, & normal speed loader for my Scar mags & pistol mags.
  8. My first GBBR gameday is this Sunday, any tips apart from conserving ammo? I'll have a couple of AEG's just in case it's too cold in sunny Scotland. Thanks in advance.
  9. Sounds like it might be cheaper & easier to replace the pistol.
  10. 6mm plastic bb's won't be much help.
  11. Does anyone know of a site that sells the floor plates for a Scar-H (VFC or WE)? I've done plenty of google searches and only found one site with them for sale but they don't ship to the UK. (MLEmart) I'm not desperately needing them as they're a cosmetic item & I've ordered magpul assists for now but it's the kind of cosmetic thing that will bug me in the long term. Thanks in advance.

  13. What are the differences?
  14. SEE... I'm not the only one. Selective editing.
  15. I've collected most of them as extra's when I buy a second hand pew, less than half have been bought seperately. I usually have my belt kit filled with hicaps and a chest rig filled with mids, only recently got a GBBR XM177 & it's mags are in an alice rig, I'll prob use my belt kit for the Scar-H mags. They'll all fit in the boot of my car & I'll swop them around as I change kit & pews. That was my original plan. Most of these will rarely get used, spare tan mags in DDPM webbing, black in MTP webbing, M16 20's in alice gear, G3 in flecktarn field gear, SLR in 58 pattern webbing etc... I collect webbing too so plenty of pouches laying empty
  16. For a bit of realism you could 'pretend' that the King Arms are imperial & the Ares are metric so aren't compatible in real steel either (this is a hobby after all).
  17. I have one or two spare mags that get dumped into an ikea type storage box & was looking on fleabay last week thinking I could buy some ammo boxes to store them all a bit better. Long story short, I dragged them all out to see how many spare mags I had & which types, took a piccie to post on here and realised that I don't need any ammo boxes... I have webbing hanging all over my mancave with ready made pouches. only got around 6 spares without a home now (mainly a couple of AK & some Galil mags). 420490325_912386320124823_669653446712038612_n.mp4
  18. Just checked & i placed an order for a GBBR XM177 on the 20th Dec & it was delivered & on my wall by the 28th and that's during the Xmas season, pretty quick IMO, some other orders have taken longer b ut never had any issues with items from Dave's except for being a little dearer than other stores.
  19. I know SFA about this but there are apps you can use on your mobile that will do the same job, The plumber that serviced my heating used one to show me the 'thermals' of each radiator. (just in case you can't get it sorted)
  20. If we ever skirmish at the same site you can try an ares mag for the fal (unless you already know it won't fit).
