MAS Modele 36. Yes, very disappointed in King Arms; however, I suspect that they are aware of the limited market for the L1A1 and FAL.

One of those days when the world conspires to stop you enjoying yourself but you still manage to.

This morning I wandered off to Tower Airsoft in Essex, which is one of my regular sites. It is a small site with some good structures including a castle, a church, a village and a bridge. It also seems to attract a good type of player. Their game days are run very well by Miguel, who some may know from CAMO, a shop and CQB site on Canvey Island (home of the magnificent Dr. Feelgood). I have been there when there were 100+ people, although the usual attendance is about 40 to 50. On this cold morning, with a pretty grim weather forecast, 20 people turned up. It really was cold and I was very pleased to have my French army heavyweight fleece for the pre-game time in the morning; it is the warmest item of clothing that I have ever owned. Despite, or maybe because of, the lack of numbers, it was a very good day. The games were well adapted to the low number of players and ran well, with good play from both sides. Alongside "normal" airsoft games, there was a fun game of armed American Football, using the bus windows as goals. Trying to score a field goal proved to be a somewhat perilous activity. Perhaps it will catch on as a new sport. Guns used: LCT PP-19-01 "Is than an MP5?" 🤬 APS UAR, with King Arms AK style M4 mags, just to make it look even weirder. 😈 Milbro Classic CO2 M1911.

New to airsoft - looking for advice/recommendations
Colin Allen replied to kirsty's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Hi Kirsty, G&G Combat Machine M4 rifles are superb entry level guns for about your price range, as are the CYMA guns, especially their AK style ones; the latter are massively better than the £40 low power gun that he had before. -
How much play/wobble is a lot? Sending it back is a bit dramatic; as EDcase has stated, some slight bending usually gets it to fit better if required. Not that different from the real ones.

I have done that as well; it works!

Freight shipping costs from China are indeed back to where they were before Covid or even below. Shipping companies (as in the people who run the ships rather than shipping agents) are reducing the number of voyages in an attempt to prevent their income collapsing completely by. With many factories in China closed because of the constant lockdowns and a slump in demand, there is more shipping capacity than is needed. However, with Winnie the Pooh now secure in his third term in office, it seems that the lockdown policy in China is easing, so more product might be available soon.

Making such threats is potentially a criminal offence; the police would be the appropriate route for escalation.

£150 from Patrol Base with one magazine. Bollocks! Should have checked if anyone else had commented.

I strongly recommend Revision Sawfly glasses with their own prescription inserts. I have used them for a few years now, along with either Cat Crap or Absolutely Clear anti fog, although the Revision wipes are good as well. If you go for the Sawflys, use the MAX lenses to give your eyes extra flank protection. They will stop a shotgun blast, so at least your eyes will survive as the rest of your head disintegrates!

Ace Combat - Paddock Wood, Kent

Blimey, that really is a reduction in size; I have rather fond memories of setting off rather large pyro charges in that area. -
Ace Combat - Paddock Wood, Kent
Colin Allen replied to Dentonboy's topic in Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews
Welcome back to playing. When you say that the open part of field one has been lost, do you mean the part to the right (as you walk out onto the site) of the track or the area between the track and the woods? Where have they moved the car park to? -
Cyber gun 1911 c02 mags - need new o rings
Colin Allen replied to Emergencychimps's topic in Gas Guns
The O ring for the valve is 8mmOD, 6mmID. -
That brings back suppressed memories of a King Arms SVD. 🤬

For distance: ZCI inner barrel, yellow (60 degree) Maple Leaf Macaron and a red Omega nub, all available from AK2M4.
-
Is it a new gun? Has this just started happening? Possibilities include: The barrel being slightly twisted in the hop unit. The bump in the rubber should be at the top dead centre position, not slightly off to one side. The hop nub being slightly off centre or misshapen. The inner barrel not being utterly straight; take it out and roll it on a flat surface to check. The inner barrel being dirty. Your gun being an StG 44 with a Krummlauf.

Sprayed handguard and stock as well. British Army and "As new!"

I cannot offer any insights or advice, but I hope you make a rapid recovery.

I had a very normal day today at Tactical Warfare Airsoft near Croydon apart from two things. As usual, the games were well though out, fun and challenging for both sides; it is also nice not to have to have to go back to the safe zone after each game as they just roll from one game to another throughout the morning and again in the afternoon. Alternating between woodland and CQB games helps to keep it interesting. The two oddities: 1. Attendance dropped significantly throughout the day; apart from one chap who was on crutches, I have no idea why as it was a good, fun day. Humans! 2. A player got really annoyed with me after I shot him in the face at very close range (to be fair, it was about all I could target). Strangely, he was not annoyed at me for shooting him in the face; he became annoyed and slightly aggressive because I challenged him over not taking the hit. Humans!

I went through that a few years ago; to try to get through it, I marshalled for a couple of years, which nearly put me off airsoft entirely. I have found that playing at a number of sites and trying new ones stops it becoming too routine.
