  1. I’d have a chat with whichever dealer you bought it from, and ask them to get in touch with Warhead directly on your behalf
  2. It was a while back but when I needed them their support was exceptional (they fixed the motor over the Christmas break under warranty when I snapped a paddle like a noob). I got in touch via Facebook Messenger and got a pretty much instant response if that’s any help?
  3. I’m at 60cm when I’ve avoided the barber for a while (59cm with the normal short-back-and-sides) and the PTS Flux fits me like a glove. The pads feel like memory foam, so they compress nicely when they need to, and don’t when they don’t
  4. I’ve posted ad nauseum about mine (Gen 2 bought Jan 2019) and it’s pretty much all positive The downsides are that the stock catch WILL break (get the Crusader steel one which is about £15 and fit it immediately), and the teeny-tiny grub screws on the switchgear can work loose so they could do with a bit of locktight. The front face of the BCG can wear a bit of you let it lock back on empty (I do) which means it could sometimes fail to hold back on empty due to the surface rounding off. The BCG was about £40, and was took five minutes to change. I didn’t have to change it as it fired perfectly as it was, I just like that it held open on empty. It took probably 20k rounds for it to start to wear to the point I wanted to change it, which is about 500 magazines worth of shooting. If mine breaks I will buy another one without any hesitation
  5. I don’t know, it just made me chuckle that the email was like “Do you want some TM bits? A new MP5K? Do you want to buy the business?”
  6. Cool’s a subjective thing, so if it’s your thing that’s all good. Have a look at see if you can find one with a proper safety rating and you’re good to go!
  7. It’s not my vibe, but to each their own. I do have some concerns though: I can’t see a proper safety rating on the glasses. For me that’s an immediate non starter. The cost is pretty hectic, and for me if I was spending that kind of cash I’d buy another PTS Flux or something equally Gucci. I’d really struggle to get my head behind the sights, and to get a decent cheek weld. Even with a high riser on the sight I don’t think it’d be workable for me. Although the inbuilt fan is supposed to be silent, I wonder if it actually would be and how effective it will be. That looks like a sweaty time. The safety aspect is the most pressing, and I’d investigate that further, but the rest is up to you!
  8. I’ve got one of these: https://airtac.me/products/gen-3-209-primer-holder-dispenser It’s nice and neat, and can slot into the webbing nicely.
  9. I wear my PTS Flux indoors for CQB as the Black Site is dark and has many things I can doink my head on (mostly due to being clumsy). It’s also saved me a couple of times from what would have been very painful close range shots. It gives a stable platform to mount my ears, as well as my head torch too. Plus I think it looks cool! I got the Spiritus Systems cover which is arguably the most underwhelming thing I’ve bought for the money in my entire life (it was about £90 if I remember correctly), so get a knockoff from eBay. MTEK do laser cut camoskins in various patterns if you don’t want a cover. There’s sod all chance I’ll wear it in the woods though except for the coldest of cold days.
  10. I use a PTS Flux and it’s super comfy. The cutout at the back is useful for looking up stairs/being prone, and it’s easily the comfiest helmet I’ve ever worn. It’s a licensed copy of the real deal, and there aren’t that many around which is quite nice. It’s not all roses though. As the pads are memory foam they can get super warm in the height of summer, but that’s the price you pay for the comfort. The straps and pads come out to be washed if you have sweated in I t. As the rails are MLOK you have to be a bit more discerning over putting things on it, but I’ve not had an issue with things like putting cans on there. And then there’s the cost. As it’s a proper replica and is made of nice things it’s not the cheapest around, but it arguably one of the best.
  11. Don’t know if it’s entirely useful information, but I run a Warhead Standard Black on a base set of gears and a 9.9v LiFe and it’s pretty bloody snappy and very efficient on battery life. For me, before everything a Warhead Motor is now the first upgrade before anything else
  12. For just £4.99 more you can have a new one with warranty (one in stock at time of posting)… https://a2supplies.co.uk/products/we-hi-power-browning-mk3-gas-blowback-pistol-black
  13. Great motor, but for £7.99 (p&p) extra you can have one direct from Warhead themselves with a warranty… https://www.warheadindustries.co.uk/product-page/warhead-industries-brushless-aeg-motor-ultrahigh-speed-short-shaft
  14. You’re both absolutely correct! Totally missed that!
