Performance wise there isn’t a lot in it so For me it would be the vortex purely on the basis that the customer support is absolutely rock solid , SIG’s uk support is sketchy at best .

11.1v will give you 28rps as opposed to a 7.4v giving you what currently ? 23rps ?

Keep it simple , start off with a simple Prometheus purple hop rubber & bucking . Use the same ammo you have and see the difference then consider also going up a weight in BB if you are using .20g . hop rubbers should be treated as consumable parts , check often , replace if you notice any damage or wear . however … this is all assuming the gun isn’t working as it should be right now , if it is, leave it alone until it isn’t

A well set up short barrel will outshoot a poorly set up long barrel . too many variables to just say yes or no I’m afraid .

In the most part it’s too much spring tension or preload behind the hammer , the valve pushes the hammer back but there is still too much tension in the spring .

So far , after half a dozen mags to test it’s been flawless , nice bit of resistance to it , in the past I’ve had floppy BAD problems ?

At £350 ( £330 in some places) these are an absolute bargain for a step into the MWS system , that’s my opinion of course but it really is a decent , nice looking , well finished and working site legal out of the box gun that appears to be compatible with TM oem & aftermarket parts. I have since added some genuine Magpul furniture , XL -K grip , SL-K stock ,Mlok AFG & BAD lever , plus some nicer VFC micro BUIS , yes it’s more money , no it’s not needed , but I did it anyway ?

That’s mini Tamiya , I’d suggest popping into an airsoft shop if you have one locally and see if they’ll test it for you , if it works then I’m sure they’d have battery’s and chargers for sale too .

Says on the polar star website they are compatible , but 12g co2 , is it a DMR you’re going for ? You might find your changing co2 quicker than changing mags if it’s just a regular Sunday pew pew build.
