  1. DSG cycles just as fast if not faster than an hpa. Outdoor just easier to abuse joules because distance and foliage and most of the guys look the same regarding gear. If it hurts that much as you said that's probably not following MED or some cunty behavor like swapping springs, changing BB weight, using heavier gas after chrono. Some people just have main character syndrome and their ego is too big or just sadist by nature. Personally I would report it to a marshall if nothing happens they are not gonna see me ever again on that site. Your whole body is fair play, as long as someone doesn't aim for head/groin on purpose like a very famous british gentleman from youtube.
  2. Buy cheap buy twice... I understand that you don't want to spend too much money on it but you need realistic expectations. If you don't mind a bit of parallax or ghosting then go for a cheaper one. I'm sure Holy Warrior has an official online shop on aliexpress it could be cheaper than any uk retailer.
  3. HPA is regulated by air pressure which is set by the owner. Both the owner and field marshalls have to be sure you don't go above site limits, MED is followed, etc. Being a cunt is just easier on HPA, because you chrono whatever you want to and then later on you change your PSI, voila, easy joule creep... I play only indoor right now as an HPA player, never had issues but my pistol only shoots 300 FPS on 100 PSI. You should try indoor for a change. Maximum 350 FPS and semi only makes a huge difference. You have got a lot of a valid points though. A met a few guys since last February who didn't take hits or tried to bend rules or just overkilled in general. But regular people are always sound.
  4. All of the cheap ones are rubbish. Probably Holy Warrior is the best Eotech clone on a budget.
  5. Is it compatible with older ICS models? Namely MX5 or whatever it called.
  6. There is no such thing as 'best MP5'. G&G and VFC made 1:1 replicas so real steel attachments should fit with 0 issue (magpul sl handguard is a notorious one regarding being too tight or not fitting at all because different dimension of XY replica). ICS makes some nice guns with aluminium upper receiver and some model can shoot burst which is nice altough indoor it's just a gimmick you can't use it anyway. 14mm thread is non existent on those guns so putting a tracer on it is either a pain in the ass or nearly impossible because those 3 lug thingies. You can buy pot metal cyma which is heavier than anything else. Weight wise probably the closest one to the real steel or could be even heavier. Classic Army has different lower receiver models. Marui made a NGRS which is extremely expensive, and spare magazines are non-existent for some reason. End of the day it's still an EBB altough I bet it's fun to shoot because you have to reload like the real one and it's responsive regarding not shooting on empty and and bolt cover/ejection port locks back on an empty mag. Old Marui models are quite pricey but they are light at least. Internally I don't think you are gonna find huge differences. (V2 gearbox basic gears, basic motor etc.) GBB has it's own pros and cons I'm not gonna get into that I wrote a novel already.
  7. That site was closed due covid lockdown and not able to make money. One of the best indoor sites around here.
  8. Indoor? Hell's Airsoft in Derby (it was extremely dusty last time I played over there I dunno if it got sorted since then), Deparment CQB in Croft, Skirmish CQB in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Gaol Events in Oakham (technicially it's urban and not indoor because of the layout), Sierra 2 in Stoke-on-Trent. I don't know about any other pure CQB/indoor sites in the midlands. Woodland sites are too many to list here.
  9. Well, no one knows exactly how much gas you neeed to crack a plastic slide but cracking a plastic slide on green gas is defo easier than on duster. You can still buy and use blue gas on it if you aren't satisfied with duster. HPA is the best because you decide your own pressure but it doesn't come cheap. TM pistols are real workhorses as long as you keep in mind that plastic slides aren't manufactured for green gas. You should check G26 Advance before you jump into a G26. From Rainbow8 you can still get it for a reasonable price but it takes some time to arrive.
  10. They're sound. Ordered few bits from there before. As long as you stay under 135 pounds you should be fine regarding VAT and customs fees.
  11. Well some TM's are even actually 1:1 to the real steel version (if it does matter). I have no clue regarding VFC I'm gonna be honest. I don't like HPA in general but I bougth a kit anyway because I had enough regarding green gas in the cold. I wouldn't run green gas on a plastic slided pistol to be honest (few magazines are okay on a full day but defo not as a main). I'm not saying your pistol is gonna explode the next time you use it but that slide isn't manufactured for 120 psi that's for sure. If you don't mind to put a metal slide on it in the future than ofc full send it why not. Longevity wise a bit weaker gas would be better probably. To my knowledge gen4 Glock 17/Glock 19 is a bit more rugged internally so it takes more time to break it on gg.
  12. AEG wise? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong I love Marui but in 2022 you can spend less or same and get better internals than a very old design Marui (I mean mainly etu and/or mosfet). Marui NGRS could be an exception but they are extremely expensive and in my opinion they are just gimmick (EBB). New MP5A5 is lovely but rrp is like 550 and you didn't even bought exra mags for it. At that price point you could invest into HPA and you set your own FPS and trigger response is amazing compared to a stock electric gun. Line is immersion breaking but you can't have everything. I tried to use green gas around 10 degrees this year late September and my metal slided pistol did everything but shooting. Venting, dry firing, not cycling so I can't really see how a GBBR would be any better in a similar scenario. We can't change that how gas doesn't work in cold weather.
  13. First fews shots are 300 and then drops a lot like 250-260 and it doesn't go back to 300 at all. Gas route seal could be the issue? Because it looks like a TM/WE style on the adapter but VFC gas route seals are way bigger. Cheers
  14. HI! Sorry in advance if someone asked it before but it's just so disappointing and can't find any solution on the internet. I've got a brand new HPA kit and a VFC Glock 45 and the fps changes a lot. On 90 PSI it shoots ~300 fps and then drops to 250-260. Any suggestion? Ty.
  15. Roughly few inches from your neck I think. In real world it supposed to protect your vital organs.
  16. Don't take it as a fact but I think because G45 is a glorified G19/X this one should fit: https://www.ehobbyasia.com/products/pro-arms-130-steel-recoil-spring-guide-rod-for-umarex-vfc-g19x-19-gen4 You could ask ehobbyasia but even if they say yes take it with a pinch of salt because they said TTI trigger would fit and it doesn't (few mm off). I've got a G45, too.

VFC CO2 prices are ridiculous. If I'm into CO2 that much I'd buy an ASG Shadow CZ instead. Depends on the retailer. Some even warn you they will remove trades before they dispatch it.

Neither me that's why I would never buy Krytac or an expensive TM AEG which doesn't even have a mosfet but preferences are subjective. You pay like 10 pounds more for a VFC Glock on average compared to a TM it's not a huge difference. A fully licensed product is gonna cost more for obvious reasons.

Yeah you see I had TM pistols but never reached that point when a slide cracked because of green gas. It's not manufactured for it that's for sure. You can upgrade your TM pistol to make it less harmful but there is a reason I said stock TM. Same here altough I don't abuse my guns but maintain them properly.

Yes, I agree. VFC isn't a shit brand in general though doesn't matter what people claim here. Every gun breaks eventually TM obviously has a proper QC and they make quality guns because of these reasons less likely you are gonna have bad experiences with the brand. I only bought my VFC Glock few months ago so I'm not gonna say it's never gonna break (it's gonna just matter of time) but I'm not biased. I buy and use everything doesn't matter what people say or claim anywhere on the internet especially when they are full of hatred. Ehobbyasia has literally everything. WGCShop used to be good before brexit but delivery became too expensive. MLEmart has a lot of VFC parts as well. These are just top of my head probably a lot more companies are involved. You can order almost anything from Hong Kong as standard delivery and roughly after waiting a week it should be in your letter box. Only saying because I do it regurarly.

Yes, TM is a good brand and everyone copies/copied them which tells a lot about their reputation in the airsoft world. But it doesn't mean they don't break or you can't better equipped gun for cheaper esp. if it's an aeg. On the internet you can't have your own thoughts because hive minded people are gonna tell you otherwise and mock you like you're some kind of imbecile. Some people live their life on this forum and act like they know everything and what they say is eternal truth. 😕

Source: trust me bro. No one questioned TM reliability I said they are overpriced regarding what they offer in 2022. Some of them were designed 20-30 years ago and haven't changed since then. No innovation and yet hefty price tags.
  24. Skirmish CQB is an amazing site both players and marshalls are fantastic. I don't mind to drive 45-50 minutes to get there. Hell's Airsoft was extremely dusty last time I played so I wouldn't pay for that experience again.
