Imagine getting at two-tone Kar98!
The Waco Kid replied to bitofanidiot42's topic in General Discussion
Two tone K98 you say? Even the Nun wants you shot in the face. And not in the way Father McShattery usually does it. -

Because Woodland camo is that good. 😁 Review by someone far better qualified than me. There is a part two as well. -
The local church my have some archived. Purely for reference purposes. Always good people watching. One group putting up cards and ten minutes later another lot taking them down. Only for them to be replaced within minutes. I found the micro economics fascinating. Purely academic interest of course.

Question on face protection laws/rules for under 18s
The Waco Kid replied to Hazza's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Sites vary on the definition and often different Marshall’s interpret it differently. No surprise. My local site(s) are full face for under eighteens. I think one of them is happy for that to be separate eyepro and face shield. If I had to choose I’d recommend a quality full face in one mask paintball style for everyone, particularly on big games. Mostly as popping up from cover it’s not unknown to get full auto from trigger happy “friends” who are behind you. More chance of this catching you on the angle of glasses and getting under them. I’m a hypocrite as I mostly use glasses and carry a face shield for when it gets close up, inevitably I fail to put it on. 🙄 -
Actually as it’s an LMG just give your buddy some binoculars and say “left a bit mate” etc as needed. 😉

It could be worse, bubba might have “sporterized” it as well. 🤮 -
Somehow the table seems to go with the theme….

I remember when you could walk into a public phone box and an array of completely trustworthy phone numbers had been handily left. Young people today. 🙄

US Woodland camouflage - why it’s great

May need a thread on the dangers of MRE over consumption. First rule of airsoft club - don’t eat the burgers… Second rule of airsoft club - bring your own loo roll. -

US Woodland camouflage - why it’s great

17) So good it even works on hippies . 18) So good it even works on dress down Mondays. 19) So good it’s worn by sneaky bastards. 20) That’s not Mario Van Peebles. 21) That’s Mario Van Peebles. 22) Highway gives a f@ck. -

16) When hit US woodland doesn’t bleed. It exfoliates more camouflage and becomes more effective, ‘coz it “don’t have time to bleed”. -

The ultimate combo with a black silk kimono and going full wax on wax off. -
1) It’s the bastard child of EDRL and MERDC. 2) ‘merica! 3) Mr T loves it. If you don’t know who Mr T is I pity you, fool. 4) It technically the third best camo in history. After Brown and Green. But it’s better because it’s got both in. 5) It was created with one function. To skull f£&k ruskies in Central Europe. It’s still there, waiting in the forest. 7) In 1978 four elite commands escaped from maximum security detention. They were located by Aerosmith and the subsequent classified debriefing resulted in three things. Woodland camo and two things that have yet to be made public. 10) It was still being issued new in 2015 to guard units. Probably never gone out of inventory in the Armies of the US since introduction. It will not die. 11) Today’s programme was brought to you by the number one and the letter ‘merica. 12) Few things say the eighties like and getting out old painless. 13) I you’re wondering where number 6 and 9 is…. It’s wearing Woodland camo so you can’t find it. 14) Get some! Our next episode will be on Alice - the US Forces ex-girl friend.

New camo - Kreuzotter from Novritch

Tiger stripe baby mama got penetrated by Rhodesian brush by the looks of it. -
I do think team ID would be better on the players head or weapon fire end so they are all round visible. Doesn’t need to be that brightly coloured. But this isn’t always practical. If a site has a rule on it should be applied to every player equally. If you change your clothing/layer up the band needs to be moved.

This is probably the most useful bit of gun fettling advice you will ever get.

Well it’s possible, just probably not a good idea. 🤫 Just as conjecture: I suppose if you ran a site that all the rental guns were two tones then UKARA wouldn’t be directly useful. But being able to sign up players to the scheme has some value. I imagine a truely reenactment themed site could get covered for rif’s that way but UKARA is mostly likely simpler. Played at the old Ambush site and had a great time. Don’t know what it’s like now. If you do go I like to hear from a sort of newbie’s perspective.
