I'd call it a pistol. not a pistol that I'd ever would want to own or operate, but a pistol never the less.. the AR however I'd refer to as a carbine ^^

Winter tires is legal requirement here, so that's generally no problem.. and we got plenty enough winter clothes! so there is absolutely no excuses for people here not to >_<

I wore a hoodie to my first skimish.. the hood came of quite quickly because of sweat and steaming.. on top of that, it restricts your sight and head movements.. would not recommend. A bb to the neck wont hurt you... much.. usually.

Playing very minimalistic as of late (thou gone back to lowcaps, when I can bother).. but as I am gonna try playing with DMR, I was actually considering TF2 sniper.. I mean, I wont need a ton of pockets. two spare mags (which would fit nice in this kind of vest pockets, but not in my rig), pistol that goes on belt. most of the things will be easy to get.. thou would have to get green instead of red/blue shirt... dont think there's a SVD in tf2, but they got so many crazy weapons I recon I can get away with it..... suppose I will need a generous amount of camo cream also..

No you are not mad to consider such swap. Unless I am mistaken, RS bodies are manufactured by Norinco, along side with the real thing.. Personally I would advise you to go ahead with it, but I never quite got along with TM either.

plastic or metal? I'm guessing it will be very hard without damaging the original paint. I stripped paint with a screwdriver once, but the gun did looks pretty beaten up afterwards.. maybe very fine grid sandpaper? think most people would just respray it in your situation.

looks like you need to shake your cans more/harder. also have your spraycan further away and never spray just a spot, always keep the can moving. and be sure to remove it after the skirmish.

You would say that thou! Choosing a SF loudout in a videogame is not ok then? or choosing a video game where you play as SF? or making a videogame with a SF loadout? In all honesty, might actually see where you're coming from. Didn't use to be very happy about people playing games that re enacted battles that my relatives had been in.. Neither of film and games companies making money on their sacrifices. Long time ago thou!

Never earned a beret in my life. Tell me then, what's the difference between video games and airsoft? And why does our guns look so much like the real thing if we're not imitating what we are not when skirmishing?

If you feel uncomfortable with it, dont do it. For me I don't get the issue. Loads of people wear uniforms they have not earned in computer games every day and I don't hear anyone complaining about that. What's the difference between that and live action roleplay, which is essentially what you're doing. When outside the roleplay, don't claim to be something you're not... you might also consider not wearing the uniform to and from games, as you will encounter people who do not roleplay and might not realise that is what you're doing.

shorts, tshirt, boots.... some kind of hat if my hair is newly cut. gloves are not fun in the heat. depending on how hot it is I might dump my rig and go highcap. think that's all really, except I pop a 2L water in the car

nope, but I have played at places with outdoor sections where I can see how you could get a kill or two with a shotgun^^
