Legal or not, ustoms have been known confiscating external parts and requiring UKARA number for them. Customs do as they please, and it's very hard to do anything about it.

cool! how comes it's 25, I mean that's not dividable by six! are they drilled with extra holes, or is the main hole smaller or what's the actual difference? have you used it a lot? they are so damn cool, but had a bad experience myself. got the 8" at half price.. cylinder kept falling out and it did not always rotate after the shot. had it in for repair for 2-3 months before being refunded

I was thinking that myself as a matter in fact how it's a bit of a paradox. It seems majority of all guns in WW2 airsoft are SMGs, while they would be minority in the war. As well as them being the intro guns. Thou this of course is not a flaw in the guide

generally the .177 is an airgun calibre, never seen plastic .177 bbs.

No extra cost? Don't buy a gun!! takes space and wastes £100!! thou it could have some benefits as well.. But maybe getting a cleaning rod and some silicon spray and clean the gun you're using.. as well as always adjusting the hopup *if the wheel is there XD* I don't know rental works, if you get to choose your gun? but if you find one that you like, maybe you could ask a marshal if it's ok you put a small dot with a marker inside of the mag well. That way you can always try to get that specific rental gun. meaning you will only clean the barrel of the gun you will be using next time, and that you will be rewarded for using it with care, aswell as you knowing that you got a gun that is somewhat consistent. Could even get an optic sight and zero it for that gun, if they have RIS. for sound reduction, you can warp some material around it. you could also make a DIY slide-on suppressor at home (you will only have to use primitive materials such as pet bottle plastic, cardboard, electric tape, duct tape, cotton, material, etc) XD

rental guns... I think most sites only ever pay any attention to them if they have a direct malfunction or stop working. So I expect that the internals to be very worn and dirty. Can't wait to use mine

electric tape, duct tape, cable ties, Leatherman multitool and sometimes an allenkey, all in the bag. Usually a Victorinox swiss army knife and a Spyderco Delica in my pockets. No Delica while in the UK thou!

For me, everything that is not clothing should be brown/tan/OD or even a classic woodland pattern. Feel more realistic to me, most less funded military in the world have this, and more funded ones often also keep OD stuff, or replace it slowly/partly. plus if you get tired of the pattern you're using, or even if you just feel like using another pattern every now and again, you can simply change your uniform without having to get a whole new kit! Someone at my site have full marpat.. the vest and pouches looks very strange to me.
