looking at that, might be better to print it on it's side so the bolt holes are going through the layers too?

Agreed, that would make it stronger in the important directions but is a horrible print with supports. You can see it has been design to be printed the way it is.

How do you think something like this to print?

I am not quite sure I understand the question but this is a simple 3D print in its current orientation.

Quick question, how hard would it be to replicate this 3D printed m4 stock adapter?

I would like to have another one at some point, thanks.

That is not difficult but is not going to be very strong. Have you used it yet? The main load is in it's weakest axis (i.e. between the layers). Drop the gun on it's stock and I can see that snapping very easily.

3D printing is good for a lot of things but you need to choose carefully where you use it. Is there no commercial version you could buy? I would expect it to not be much mire than the cost of a 3D print.

I have just been told that both packages I had coming from them are now lost and I should contact Taiwan gun to start a claim.

Has anyone else started this process yet?

    Cheers

I was told that for one of my packages but it seems like it depends on who you talk to at UPS. It turns out that both of mine are actually really with customs for inspection. This apparently can take 2-3 weeks and there will be little or no update on the tracker during this time. This again could be BS but the person I was talking to today seemed a little more informed and understanding of what is going on. I know that usually the import side is usually handled entirely by the UPS brokerage but occasionally  they do get pulled for review.

Definitely starting to think mine is lost now. No activity for a few days:

I have had no movement or update on one package at SLH in 8 days and just been told it is just due to a backlog. On my second UPS claim they need the commercial invoice. This was already provided to them 3 weeks ago. Their incompetence is astounding. Both shipments have now been with UPS for over a month.

In the meantime I have also been chasing Taiwangun. After my first many weeks ago they just asked me to wait as it was a issue of delays with UPS. Since then I have had no response to my emails to them.

  5. UPS support really are getting very deceitful. After just speaking to them further I put forward that I wanted to take my issue and complaint further and was given their 'customer support' email.

To my surprise (perhaps I should not have been) I got an automated reply stating that this email is "not monitored or received".

I have found another contact email address online and will see if that works.

  6. Mine has gone through clearing and customs both in Poland and at Stanford Le Hope. Since then it has done nothing for days at SLH. The other was cleared in Poland but awaiting clearance at SLH, again for days. It seems to go through clearance both leaving Poland and entering the UK. This may also require a customs inspection which is usually part of the clearance procedure.

I’m looking to do an small order from Taiwan Guns, just magazines and some other bits, total value just over £140. Will it get processed or shall I not bother.

At the moment they are not shipping anything to the UK because UPS can not handle it. You won't be able to select any shipping option so cannot complete the checkout. Even when they do they will only accept orders over £135. This is because below that value they need to register for VAT with the UK and process it directly rather than letting you pay on import.

Apparently I'm here so logic and reasoning would suggest that didn't occur.....I know this premise is hard for you to understand but that's the logistics of this.

    - A friend visits your home and says he's leaving your residence....Your friend is still there. So by default he hasn't left since he is in fact still inside your residence.

Come on guys. A little misunderstanding on both parties sides does not need to escalate into this. You are driving this thread well of topic with an unnecessary argument.

Thing is very sturdy when its attached to the barrel. Tried a few different hop up rubbers for fit. A Lonex didn't stand a chance of getting in. Then went to a Prometheus purple which barely fit and tore near the barrel end. Moment of dread trying to get it out but it eventually came back out. Might have fit if I had trimmed off a mm or so. Lastly tried out a G&G green which fitted snugly but well. Still waiting on other parts before I can reassemble it the build but first impressions are promising.

I recently got one too. No issues with Maple leaf rubber. The barrel clip was very tight on the PDI barrel but a little cleaning up of the clips edges and it provides a very nice and secure fit. Now just waiting for the RIF it is going to go in (stuck with UPS).

it's probably a range, 455ish being optimal and decreasing to 509ish before it really becomes noticable.

of course having said all that, for the 20 seconds when my mg42 was still an aeg it had no problems with accuracy whatsoever on a 650mm barrel......

Yes it would be a range as it is apparent the required volume ratio is very much dependent on the BB weight you are using.

Thank you for this. It made me smile after a difficult week dealing with UPS. I still can't stop smiling now.

  11. That's the issue. We expected some delays due to Brexit and I was fully aware of the additional charges.  However these excessive delays are all down to UPS and not BREXIT. No other courier service has anything like this issue.

After many calls with broken promises of call backs and updates I was given a direct email for updates. After several inquires not one response. The customer service is just a distraction technique without any ability to provide any help whatsoever. Although it is not their fault (UPS process and management are to blame) I could never work in a role where I was suppose to lie to and deceive customers.

  12. I've not had an MD now for a least 5 years. Stopped at a service station one lunch time and was half way through a Big Mac when I realised I just was not enjoying it. Left it half eaten and never had one since. BK on the other had....
