Great day's Airsoft today, possibly my best performance on the field to date. K/D ratio was easily my best ever. Head Marshall/tech: "Before I play against (me) I need to make myself a gun to counter that DMR I built for him" Random guy I've seen around: "we always win when you're on our team" SMUG MODE VERY MUCH ENGAGED Got an AMAZING tag shot, landed it right in the middle of three lads behind a barricade. More luck than judgement though. HPA SHOTTY: Bloody marvelous. BUT! Weight of the tank and shotgun on my back is too off putting, and the line is a bit irritating. Keeping it but for cqb only and will definitely NOT be HPAing any other guns. That said, it is great fun to slam fire a shell to empty and not worry about your gas remaining, and it's more powerful now. Overall BRILLIANT day. Also, something that really amused me: The site also runs paintball parties for kids. I'm sat on the tailgate of my truck, dreadlocks dangling, fag hanging out me gob, scalp tattoo showing, Lamb of God blasting out the blue tooth speaker, loading mags. Paintball milf taking her kiddy in to a party looks at me with horror, kiddy is staring at me like I'm from Mars. She looks away in disgust and immediately sees Ben, who is basically a 30 years younger version of me, dreadlocks and tattoos, and Georgie who is all bright pink hair and piercings. Paintball milf grabs kiddy's hand and virtually sprint drags him to the paintball hut, while he's gawping at RIFs 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Careful love, your kid might contract STD, socially transmitted autism!

I feel vaguely grubby 😕 I'm not going full hpa. I bloody love my GE M870 Shorty, a lot, but the gas capacity is too low for me to fully enjoy it. The conversion to HPA took less time than to open the packaging. So here we are. Am I a filthy speedsofter now?

Yup, I did read that. I've not tried the tap yet, but I'm hoping as it's designed for golden eagle it should be a drop in modification. Yup, easy as. Going to take it back out, have a clean up and add some PTFE.

Well, after a bunch of research I ordered a Balystik HPR800C V2 Regulator, Balystik Deluxe Line and a Valken V2.0 48ci 3K tank. I think that'll all work together. 🤷🏼

HPA NEWBIE! So, I have a Golden Eagle m870 sawn off. I've seen that you can simply change out the fill valve for an hpa valve and you're mostly there. I've bought a Balystik HPA tap for golden eagle shotguns. So my questions are: Is there anything else I need to do to the internals to prep it for HPA? What tank/regulator/line should I get? Must have been. My friend just bought one and I had to file his too. Maybe they changed it as they realised people want to use tags in them.

This is good advice

A file or a Dremel. That's all. Inside the main chamber there's a lip. This lip prevents moscarts from falling out of the barrel. If you file down the lip tag shells will fit in nice and snug. Of course this means that if you try and use moscarts again they may fall out, so useless for them. Make sure you grind it off evenly, so the tag shell sits centralised in the chamber. Been using it for about a year with this modification and it works perfectly.

My Cyma M052, modified to fit tag shells, and now given a facelift. The paint job has been on it since just after I bought it. Last week I made a wood grip from scratch. ConsideringI've not done woodwork since school in pretty pleased with how it's turned out.
