There are loads of airsoft groups on faceache, unfortunately 99% of the content is usually the same crap. It's either people pushing their YouTube channel, the same questions or bad advice answering them. 
 
While forums have their problems I find they're far better for information and there's less egotistical bellends

forums remain a bastion of actual enthusiast dialogue, and whilst this place has a particular feel (read: if you're a kickingmustang alumni you may not feel so welcome) it remains a safe place to chat airsoft related topics without the usual internet plague of adverts and bad opinions.

It could be argued that .2g is better for cqb as the higher fps means a shorter flight time for the bb. Potentially an advantage when targets are only visible for fractions of a second

Talking to me pal? Getting the police contacted on you can affect future jobs, aswell as many other things? 

Startling part of this is finding out people use Airsoft Hub 

Why would someone planning to lie to you tell such an obvious lie?  They'd be under 1.2J with anything up to 0.45g anyway.
 
We're talking about the situation where Harry Hotgun says "Yeah, mate, using point twos today, mate", chronos at 350fps, then walks onto the field shooting 2J with the 0.36g that he's really got loaded.

Maybe for when the claimed and actual weights are at either end of the weight ranges. If the cheating player were to use a 0.32 bb at 1.2j the fps would be 284

That makes no sense at all. The joules is calculated using the weight given by the player so if the player lies about the bb weight then the joules reading will be wrong making a hot gun appear ok
