  1. Midweek games interest me because my shift pattern means I don't get that many weekends off and when I do half the time I've just finished a night shift
  2. As I've posted before it never ceases to amaze me how so many airsofters are happy to be bent over and shafted by shops with terrible customer service
  3. Good to hear. I get the feeling they were trying to fob you off with a load of bullshit in the hope you don't know consumer law. It makes me wonder how many other people have fallen for their lies and just paid up
  4. Only when cleaning handguns as I strip them down for cleaning anyway. Everything else except the M4 stays in one piece as it's the only AEG I've got where I don't have to spend ages taking it apart and putting it back together. Even more so than ethyl alcohol found in booze* *Please don't drink isopropyl alcohol, there's a high chance it'll make you take a forever nap
  5. My local asda has been reducing it's range of beer and cider so I've been getting some really good deals as they clear excess stock (eg bottles of Trooper for 68p) so I'm hoping they're going to do the same with spirits. Not sure my liver will be too pleased though
  6. Agreed. The few times I visited their sites I never had any issues. A quick look on Google maps shows it's in the middle of an industrial estate so no neighbours to complain too. The other part which piqued my interest was that they're going to be allowed to open till 10pm so I wonder (more like hope) if they'll be running mid week games in the evenings
  7. I couldn't find it in the actual act but I did find this https://www.gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds#:~:text=You can ask a customer,(5 years in Scotland). As you had it for only 2 months before taking it for repair their claims of being out of warranty are simply bollocks
  8. I just had this pop up on Google. Good news for anyone in the Huntingdon/Cambridgeshire area https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqvnq0j7q5xo.amp
  9. Surely they should be "industrial", "medieval", "furure" and "aztec"? Especially if the head marshal is a bald thespian with eccentric taste in clothing
  10. How do welshmen find sheep in long grass? Irresistible
  11. Agreed. At least on a regular skirmish I can ignore the gobby idiot if their idea is clearly bollocks. Also I get the impression many milsims are pay to win or are more like larping to a set story line.
  12. For me the go to brands are usually Captain Morgan spiced or Kraken, but if I feel like pushing the boat out (and getting absolutely shitfaced) there's always Wray & Nephew's ovenproof. If you're a fan of the fruity rum based spirits then I can recommend Captain Morgan Tiki. Just be warned, it goes down easier than Russia's black sea fleet
  13. *insert actually meme Technically that wouldn't be on the Geneva checklist
  14. I've never had that specific chest rig but I have used similar pouches and found I did need to have the bungees quite tight to stop the magazines bouncing around.
  15. To quote the fat electrician It's never a war crime the first time
  16. Expect a call from Iran asking how quickly you can deliver a few hundred
  17. Wow, it sounds like they're giving you every excuse under the sun. If it's a repair under warranty my next e mail would say they've got a week to either complete the repair work or issue a full refund or you'll be taking legal action If they really do have a massive amount of warranty repairs to do then it makes me wonder how crap their stock is
  18. Only if you did the Jack Sparrow running style. Bonus points if you had a bottle of rum too
  19. If the smoke was coming from the trigger then I doubt it was the battery as they're in the stock. I'd say it was a problem with either the wiring or the motor. Imo you did the right thing sending it back. Too many people in this hobby are happy to buy something, find out it doesn't work and then spend more on fixing it. As far as I'm concerned, if I'm spending several hundred quid on something it had better work out of the box or it's going back
  20. What voltage batteries are you using at the moment? If you're using 7.4v at the moment then stepping up to 11.1v may cause over spin. 8f you're already using 11.1v batteries then I can't see why you shouldn't use that battery
  21. Sorry but all the above just don't add up to the superior aesthetics of the Walther P99
