Dont give up on democracy. Trouble is a lot of people wont exercise their rights. If you dont use them you will loose them. There can be no government without the masses. Therefore the voice of the people is a strong and valid force.but dont let your rights be slowly and covertly eroded.we vote with our voices and our feet.
