      Architects are my arch enemies (they try to steal my job thinking they're better because of their education, but then clients always pray me to fix their shit)

      A recent one I had was a consultant who designed a system for me to install.  I then had to correct this mistakes, after which I had to shoe into a tiny plant room extra equipment because of paranoia over things failing in years to come.

       

      Dude looks me in the eye and says "don't worry I have rendered everything in 3D and it all fits.

       

      Silly sod didn't 3D render my 6'7" 120kG (then) frame into the picture did he - nor all the shit that links all the equipment together.  It was like playing Tetris with a blow torch.

       

      Now I think about it - he still owes me £4K.  methinks a stroppy email is about to be sent.
