Depends entirely what FPS your site allows. The sites i have used the DMR at are running 450fps on 2s. Which is mildly short of a bolty at 500fps. I have tried .32s and they are ok. I used .45s at 450fps and it went flat and straight of a scary distance. People say you need to up the bucking for 4+ but i've not had that with the stock TM and the SIX6 But everyone is different

I have a DMR build and it functions very well. Honestly, I would keep it simple and you need to go much heavier on the bbs G&P NPAS SixG Nub 0.45s Geoffs Run on Propane The NPAS you can mod to take an allen key and you will always been good to use a little bit of threadlock to keep the screw in place. Other than that, you should be good to go. Longer barrels dont make it more accurate and when a friend of mine tried building his MWS with one it just cocked it all up. Removed it and it was good as gold.

OP. Try before you buy. You will either love or hate. Expensive if it turns out to be hate. Stick with the TM's and dont dick around by "upgrading" their internals. It will make them worse.

Take it apart, spend £20 on mapleleaf bucking and omega and put it back together. You wont be unhappy

I don't disagree but in the UK if you are running rental power, you will be out range by everyone else on the field. The stock hop on the stock TM is fine but it struggles to lift heavier rounds and even getting to it compared to a normal AEG is a pain in the fucking tit. Don't get me wrong. Op the best out of the box gun is the one where you spend 2mins removing the upper and swapping out the hop rubber for a maple leaf 50 or 60 and the matching omega nub. This can be done by the most noobie of noobies and requires literally no skill or knowledge of AEG's to achieve. Remove two bolts, lugs. Gently pull upper forwards. Remove hop from barrel, bish bash bosh. You have the most accurate AEG achievable. Personally I would avoid recoils like the plague, they are piss poor power out the box and a whore to work on compared to every other AEG on the market.
