I got a C04 as an experiment and it works very well, hops 3.2g nicely, tough plastic body horrible RIS fore end. Only real issue I’ve encountered is the stock is slightly slower to change a battery in than the Krytac. Get one, it’s too cheap not to have a go with.

What you’ve described is the pick ‘n’ pluck foam mentioned above.

An air pistol is a firearm.

It looks like it’s been mistakenly flagged as a real air pistol rather than an airsoft version of a real air pistol. Air pistols are unusual things to make replicas of.

Made a little dropper panel so I can move my admin pouch down, makes the front of my chest rig a little cleaner. 2” Velcro at the top, three rows of PALs at the bottom. Also a couple of very hi-viz muzzle covers.

Just recently, a TM HK45 Tactical, Esstac double mag pouches, TM pistol speedloader (boy, is the difference noticeable to cheap Lonex ones), WAS universal holster. I got a crazy jet barrel and two hop rubbers to see if there is a significant difference from the already excellent TM setup. Also, a small pile of bits from Tacticaltrim.de to see about making some elastic mag pouches - shit brown bank robber rig, anyone?

I thought, as we do not seem to be getting a game in the next few weeks up here, that I’d knock up a belt kit. This was largely based on me buying an HK45 Tac last week (Thanks Rob!). From left to right: - Pair of Esstac Kywi pistol pouches, they look too close to each other for the base plates in this image but once curved around a midriff they fit perfectly. - Pair of Esstac Kywi mid height M4 pouches for fast reloads. - Double M4 mag pouch with either an Odin speedloader or two more mags. - Tactical Tailor water bottle/GP pouch, for either water or assorted crap. - Emdom BOMB pouch for bangs or as a rough admin pouch. - WAS Universal holster with TM HK45 Tactical. I’ve not had the chance to use it in a game yet but it all works well in drills so far.

Looking through the site, it’s apparent that TMC also use gen Austrialpin buckles with prices to match so I really would appreciate your thoughts when it arrives (I’ve put myself down for a restock notification too). As you say, you aren’t going to be parachuting off it or leaning out a chopper door and I’m willing to bet it’s at least as strong as a Webtex side release buckle as seen on a million 90s PLCE belt kits.

I thought that was an astonishing price for a belt with an Austrialpin buckle (pretty much the cost of a buckle, in fact), looking at the photos though, it seems they are, let’s say very close tributes to the original. I’d be really interested to get one just to see how it stands up against a real one in a bit of back yard testing.

How are you finding the light mounted there, do you get much flare or visual interference on your optic?

A Dynatex BFG. Such a clever bit of engineering and everything I’ve heard suggests I’ll still own it fully functional when I die.

A Specna RRA C04, literally the cheapest RIF in the shop. Primarily to have as a back up or loaner, it’s also going to be destined for messing around with. First off I’ll leave it totally stock to see where it is in performance terms, it’s currently sending a 0.28g at 270 FPS so just under 320 FPS on a 0.2g. Hopefully it will hop the .28g on stock bucking. Future plans are to change battery terminals, shim, replace hop rubber and barrel then maybe improve the externals, add a better sighting system, see about some internal components, add a mosfet but all that will be after I have a clear idea of what the baseline is like. It’s an experiment in just what dirt cheap can do against something 3x the price.
