  1. Welcome to afuk, good choice of rifle and have fun
  2. I've always held the belief that letting hobbies become jobs isn't a particularly good idea but that's purely my own opinion and it's not my place to criticise other for doing so. In the UK unless you're running a site or a shop there's very little opportunity. You'd have to look abroad in Asia where language barriers would be the first hurdle. After that getting into the job positions is something I don't think would be all that easy, these companies are small in the grand scheme of things but won't just employ anyone. No idea about pay rates, can't the imagine they are particularly note worthy unless you're high up in the companies.
  3. A 416c is pretty much an AR15 variant, I'd suggest something with a more conventional stock (not sure what internals the C has but probably still not that differrnt) but there's not much difference. As for the prices, a gbbr is going to be expensive regardless of which you get, 300 plus £35 a mag is the minimum you'll be paying.
  4. Of the three I'd repeat what others have said and suggest the mp7. If you want an actual rifle I'd say get a WE AR-15. Very popular system and pretty simple internally.
  5. Fair enough from your post in the what have you bought thread you came across as though the GHK gearbox was your first to see if you liked gas guns or not, my mistake then. I'd still disagree though, if you look after your kit well and don't drop it etc and prevent leaks then it's not much hassle and doesn't take long, the mags aren't as heavy as people make out either imo, they are a bit but once in the pouches of a decent rig properly adjusted the weight isn't all that noticeable to me. As for replacing the bucking I can only assume you've had KWAs as every other gbbr and pistol I've had has been fine with them? No need for panic attacks at the chrono, you should set your guns up to be safe from temperature rises and changing the fps. If you're outgunned by 12 year old then it's a case of changing your play style, being more efficient with your ammo etc. Stinking of propane though, I'll give you that
  6. Sounds like you need to try a gbbr in real life
  7. Tokyo Marui don't do a gas mp5? Do you mean maruzen?
  8. To be honest I wouldn't go near a polar star, I've thought about them and considered it a couple of times but the gas tank and stuff would get on my tits, I think the performance and stuff is impressive but just a bit of a step backwards.
  9. The anticipation was killing me, it's now over The boxes: And the guns ACR, very nice- quick change barrel is a proper piece of shit though. XM177 M4 And a friends forged receiver set, I'm gonna have to get one of these sets, it's very nice indeed.
  10. I prefer the fun of gbbrs and the all year round comfort of AEGs. My main gun is a tm recoil to split the difference but I have various guns in each category so depends how I'm feeling.
  11. They're here!

The Pmags are identical internally, a magazine shell isn't going to effect anything.

Flex, if you aren't comfortable faffing around inside your guns then a gas gun isn't for you.

Upgrade parts to increase longevity aren't for the benefit of people who don't want to have to fit parts themselves, it's for the people with more money to burn who would rather just have to replace things less frequently.

yeah^^ I will watch plenty of videos, but nothing compares to getting first hand experience. I reckon I will buy a cheap g39c and then use that until I get comfortable, I'm fine with aegs, always having to fix my mates guns but never really done anything to a gbb.

You're probably better off getting a WE pistol first. Learning how that works fixing it when it breaks, taking it apart and putting it back together etc.

  12. I'm not saying I don't believe you, just that it's a bit odd
  13. I don't understand why the battery should change the fps of the gun? That's down the release of the piston, I'd suggest it was more down to chance possibly.

    G&G or G&P

They're both very common makes of m4s though so a lot of people have experience of both. For instance I've owned g&ps but most of my friends have had g&gs at some point or other, I'd imagine the same with a lot of other rplayers as they're probably the two most common guns in airsoft, in the UK at least.

    G&G or G&P

I'd go g&p every time. It's easier to get a G&p to perform as well as a g&g than change all the externals to get a g&g to not feel like a toy. And it's not like a G&p doesn't shoot well ootb either
  16. I saw the advert today on tv, looks like a mess of loads of bits of other games thrown into one to me. Then again I haven't really looked into it so it may be interesting- the ad doesn't give a great outlook on it though from my point of view but then my taste of games is very limited.
  17. To be honest you don't NEED anything, it's all personal preference.
  18. No they're hosting the bingo world championship next April
  19. I sold off most of the population of Eastbourne.
  20. The g3 and variants, particularly the msg 90 and psg1. The m14 ebr the and fal/slr come a close second and third for me.
  21. I think it needs some more stuff on it
