  1. Now, now, what do we have here? Hmmmmm the upper 416C looking variant looks ok.... but the lower one looks as though it's been in a drag contest. What's it supposed to be?
  2. That’s fine. That will work. In fact I have one in my parts box. . That GBB purple prommy is supposed to work very well with the prommy hop arm too. I have one of those too in the parts box but never got round to trying it. https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/first-factory-strike-hop-arm-for-marui-m4a1-mws
  3. Only a GBB rubber will fit.
  4. I’m using the same batteries in my 50 shades of Tan. The gun starts firing as soon as you look at it. ?.
  5. I’d stick to the Marui rubber truth be told. I used the tan modify one and it lasted a few hundred rounds. It may well have been the rubber was a dodgy one, who knows. The Marui is spot on. Always keep a few in the tool box from now.
  6. Exactly. You’d think a 285 FPS 0.3 bb would them churn out the equivalent 0.20 bb at 350fps but my tests clearly showed that was not happening. With an AEG definitely the relationship would be almost linear as you said in your post. GBBRs are not an exact science. They are just fun to use. Here is a thought. It could well be the quality of the 0.2bbs they were Excels and pretty old too. Dare I say it about 6-7 yrs old maybe more. I do have some newer 0.2s so I’ll give them a go at the weekend and see what transpires.
  7. Guys, I did some FPS testing way back in January using a G&P BCG and a Marui BCG. For those who want to know what power you get from using Abbey Ultra Predator gas (the one that comes in a red can) see the attached pic. I did some testing using 0.3 Geoffs and 0.2 Excels at a temperature of 20c (I do believe). The left side shows a G&P bolt carrier group. On the right is the standard Marui bolt. The max figure for the G&P bolt was 387fps!! With the Marui bolt it was 329fps on 0.2s. Interesting results eh? The mag was filled up each time fresh of course which explains the initial high power. The main reason for the G&P bolt having a higher output is the floating valve in the nozzle. Obviously it's set to allow more gas to get pumped into the valve. Yes I can remedy this with a G&P NPAS which I do have but just haven't got round to installing it.... I will do at some point and then report back... (but don't hold me to that lol)
  8. Well that would be a daft thing if ever there was one ?. 0.48’s? Damn that’s expensive plastic! I run 0.4s in the 417 and I cry each time I miss.
  9. I may have jinxed this, but my Angry Gun variable nozzle seems to work fine once it was set up properly.. How long the nozzle valve stays in one piece and doesn't get ejected out the front barrel is another story
  10. Ahhhhh Jedi logic Actually the Marui Devgru is a bloody good looking gun and that can’t be denied. Amen.
  11. I wonder if the whole design thing was something to do with the official Daniel Defense licensing? Let’s face it the design is just bonkers as surely TM knows us boys like to tinker with our pew pews. It’s not logical. Anyway, it's an old story so "Move Along Nothing to See" to coin an expression ??‍♂️
  12. Anyone who has a MK18 MWS here is a tool which can remove the barrel nut and fits perfectly according to a post on the Marui thread on Facebook
  13. Nice one Squire. I still can’t believe that gave you an extra 60fps. Flipping amazing what a good barrel and hop rubber can do. Also a bit of Sam’s magic too. Plus a fried Mars bar thrown into the gearbox too ?
  14. I know silencers are supposed to muffle the sound but I had no idea this advert for one would silence me. Bloomin heck’s lads look at this one. It’s got to be full of premium Marui Pixie, Fairy, Star, Diamond dust. Have I missed out any other Marui dust? Hmmmm ?
  15. No no no, that brass collar is integral to the design... Look, personally you should let a 'professional' dealer sort out the MWS. Whatever has gone wrong to it can be fixed... I'd just send it to Eagle 6 and ask them nicely to help... Just send them all the bits you want adding to it and be done with it.... Call Richard and speak to him.
  16. That’s a t-shirt or a patch for sure....
  17. It has a Titan advanced and 7 EPM mags and a M95. What baffles me is running a Titan with stock Marui gears. Although nothing wrong with that combo if you’re installing a Titan you may as well shove in steel gears and bushes too. And by changing the spring you have the piston out so why not change it for a more durable one. Anyway this isn’t a topic about upgrades. But £975? Jeez! And for all the youngsters this song is epic.
  18. Put it all back to stock parts and see how it functions. It takes a lot to fcuk up a MWS. It may transpire the AG outer barrel doesn’t marry up properly with the brass collar which in turn holds the hop against the receiver. This is why see what the Marui barrel does. I can’t believe that scoring in the inside of the buffer tube. Surely that implies there is an issue with the HAO bolt’s tolerances with the Marui buffer tube. That’s definitely gonna bugger up the efficiency of the MWS. I’m quite shocked to see that truth be told.
  19. Such a gun deserves a proper essential campo loadout. Details are important, right? Behold..... taaaa daaaa
  20. I have 12. Maybe I should sell them and have enough for a new MWS ?
  21. Talking of the Easter Bunny, this one is totally hopping bonkers. 8 NGRS PMAGS for £325. I mean really? https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/gun-accessories/magazines-for-sale/3197298-8-x-tm-recoil-ngrs-magpul-pmags
  22. I thought Daft Punk was a duo? Remember all those coloured cylinders? You could take the fps from 300fps to 500fps literally within seconds... so naughty...
  23. @gunbod007 Dude! Are you sure your MWS was not made late on a Friday afternoon like 5.59pm coz last orders for shipping from the factory was 6pm?
  24. I always think of these fellas when I see a HPA rig....
  25. Now, I was gonna weigh in and then thought to myself I really can't be asked because most of you all know where I stand when it comes to TM recoils so I'll just say a few words..... not many.... just a few... I've been in and out of airsoft since 2005 and I've seen all kinds of pews. Crap ones, good ones, wannabe ones and 'you-can't-touch-this' ones. I remember when the first recoils came out the price point was pretty high and I recall how people ridiculed the platform back then and for some reason many still do to this day. Then the Systema came out circa 2008 and boy oh boy oh boy... the Systema haters materialised literally over night... It was incredible the back talking you'd get when you'd go to a game..... but you know what? That's what I had, that's what I wanted to play with and that's what I spent my money on. For all those TM and PTW haters there were scores more who loved seeing the new platforms and asked questions and wanted to have a go.... and many still do today.... Now we all know a stock TM recoil is a bloody good pew pew and it does what it says on the tin... yes the average price is about £500.... and I accept it's a lot of money.... However, you can chose to leave it alone and play with 0.28g bbs and shoot accurately up to 40-45m. Or you can make it even better if you so wish to... You can elevate a TM recoil to the near halo heights of Systema God-like range and accuracy. Yes I've said it... 'God-like' and especially more so if it's a Tackleberry PTW. Those who have one and have played with one will know what I mean. The only platform that comes close out of the box to a Systema is the GBLS-DAS (so I've heard) and a mate of mine has bought one and we will put them both to the test but that's a different story for another day..... There are some great TM builders out there namely E6, KoA and CAMO... these guys know how to take a TM and elevate it to near Systema performance...some may even say better.... and yes it costs money..... a lot of money.... Will it make you a better player? Maybe? Who knows? Will it put a smile on your face each time you pull the trigger? Hell yes! So why do it? Well that's easy to answer.... Coz we want to. Coz we are intrigued on what we can get out of the platform... Coz we can. Coz we simply love to tinker...... That's the beauty of this hobby... You can put a little into it or as much as you want into it.... Oh FFS, I've said a few more words than I wanted to..... hey ho!
