God!! don’t get me started, the amount of Friday nights, all day Saturday, all day Sunday & Monday evenings I did with my mates playing AD&D in the 80’s not forgetting the amount of junk food and beer consumed was crazy - it kinda got a little silly but by fuck was fun at the time 8 of us playing D&D and getting beered up!
When TSR started to remove things like the melnibonian section in deity’s & demigods manual (‘copyright issue I think) and in later stages of 2nd edition demons from the monster manual in that stupid loose leaf “monstrous compendium” and silly classes started to appear we slowly drifted away as it felt a different game to us all.
I still have my character sheet from my favourite two chars and the painted figures in one of attic boxes

FFS @Adolf Hamster The last few months we have argued over worse/more stupid things so it’s kinda on par atm and imho feels quite “normal”

seriously tho - fucking border force monkeys not having a scooby-doo what Airsoft is all about, but they will let a container full of drooogs in without a problem …..

I’ve been to the store a fair few times and everything is all fine and dandy, the staff are nice and chatty and the atmosphere is pleasant, HOWEVER I have never ordered anything from them online so I can’t say how that side of things are.

The next burning question is ….

@Speedbird_666 Very nice matey - 3D printing is one thing I’ve been very tempted getting into but I’m being blocked by the misses with either of the following “it’s too expensive” or “‘it’s just another fad”  and being honest I wouldn’t know where to start with the 3D software (old dog new tricks..)

I hope you’ve started looking at getting a refund from your card provider or from PayPal BEFORE it gets too late1

Was extremely fun day out at Ace Airsoft had a massive grin on my mush for most of the day right upto the point I went “arse-over-tit” coming out of the jungle - I didn’t know my legs could go up that high but by god it hurt when gravity too over - hip hit a root and right took a proper beasting.

Just pleased that no one caught my gymnastics on camera /phew 😅
 
All of the Marshalls were awesome and kept checking on me - don’t worry guys it was my fault and I did sign the waiver

Looking back at it - yes i was kinda happy it wasn’t caught on camera but I could have used the video to get some “sympathy” of the misses

personally I would just get from the site I’m playing at - the price you pay isn’t that much more versus the “hoops” you have to jump through to get them from any supplier

Competition & demand in the area - too many cooks spoil the broth.
Parking availability - you may have a great site but if there’s no parking or it’s Uber expensive then people may think twice.
Storefront - Will you be selling goods on site ?
Food - will you be providing food ? Cooking on site or go down the vendor machine route ?

This is what I’m thinking about doing in my skull mask if I don’t use my Xfog for it, make the mask self contained fan either side with a battery in the middle and a on/off switch on one side

@Skara I never went for a MR bucking in the End - I listened to the advice by @Steveocee and got a Autobot 70 & 75 rubbers - I currently have the Pink 75 in atm

I quickly put my setup together on a spare set of goggles (before I cut up my 'good' set).
 
I'll wire in a switch at some point, but initial results in testing so far are promising.  I will definitely use Sugru to mount it to cut down on noise/vibration a little as my Peltors tend to exacerbate things.
 
2200mAh (probably ~1800mAh 'real world') should give me way more than a game day's worth of continuous use.
