  1. Player 1 has COVID, coughs into his hand. Pours BB's in to his palm and pushes them in to his mag.....
  2. Somewhere around £175. Unfortunately £86 of the package cost is made up of additional mags and they're worth very little secondhand.
  3. From what I remember you no longer possess a valid UKARA, so understand buying another RIF at this stage is not an option for you. All I would say from my experience, if you are dead set on getting a metal kit, send it to a tech from the start. You may tell yourself that's an option as a last resort but at that point you would have likely filed the wrong parts, scratched the paint etc, etc.. That's why I took my latest project straight to Luke at Negative Airsoft and he took his time to ensure he didn't damage the slide (as it was very expensive and brand new). For the minimal labour amount he charged, I have a RIF that not only is immaculate but works exactly as it should (negative effect on gas efficiency/cooldown is barely noticeable).
  4. I get what you mean. Obviously you don't want to be rocking a 200fps sniper rifle but people obsess over 10-15 fps (how do I get it to 349.9fps!?), thinking it will make the world of difference.
  5. Guess it didn't take too much dry firing before you figured that one out! Yes, I recall our conversation regarding cricket balls haha!
  6. What were you lead to believe or just had a misconception of when first getting in to airsoft, which later turned out to be completely untrue? Alternatively what have you read/been told/overheard and straightaway knew it was utter BS? I'm not talking about any contentious teching habits etc but things which we can all agree upon. One that springs to mind is someone genuinely believed if they put an 80 degree hop bucking in their WE G17, it would make it fire at 490fps because it said on the guide to their Maple Leaf rubber "80 degree: 490 FPS up"
  7. I 100% get where you're coming from. I rarely skirmish any more and yet have just put about £500 in to a Marui Gen.4 Glock 17. Before that I spent £300 on Gen.3 Marui Glock 17 with full Guarder kit. Thinking about it makes me think I was crazy to do so, yes it was something to overcome and I can be proud that I ended up with a working gun but the build process was far more stressful than I had anticipated. Long story short, it's not something I'd recommend. When you come to sell it, you'll likely be losing £200 instead of £50, so you'd just feel like all that f'ing and blinding was for nowt!
  8. Why do I have the sudden urge to buy a P90!?

Small, sweet, deadly. I was tempted too until I decided fuck the mags.

I've got one for sale, £400 with everything you could need to start skirmishing ;)

@CJSpalding - Thanks for the offer but I've just checked your ad and it comes with loads of stuff I don't need/want, so will likely stick to buying one new around the £280 mark.

  9. I just can't understand how people can feel themselves being hit multiple times and then feel good about kills they get after. You get those people who you literally have to shoot in to submission. Had it with my near 500fps DMR. Couple of shots to the plate carrier, they clearly reacted looked down at their chest and then around to see if anyone saw before carrying on, then a couple to the head and clearly in pain this time but no calling...until a couple more and they finally give in. By which I mean skulking away with both hands down, no audible "hit!" and walking with a raised hand. No doubt they'd also be the first to moan if shot again. Another weird one is the "I'm clearly in the game zone but you're not allowed to shoot me" players (and no I don't mean Marshals!). The people chatting to their mates, rolling a cigarette or just generally chilling by the base they're supposed to be defending, who then flip-out as soon as BB's fly their way.
  10. Surely just park on Cheap Street?.....I'll see myself out.
  11. Interesting thing about the announcement... Kennet Shopping FB Page - 4850 page likes - 524 comments on this post - 271 shares Zed Adventures FB Page - 11396 page likes - 59 comments on this post - 25 shares How come there's so much more traction on the page with fewer likes?
  12. Not trying to be elitist but as someone who frequents a site where you get a lot of stag party type groups, this has got to be a concern. Too many of the ones I've encountered are literally there just to piss around with BB guns, regardless of the rule-set.
  13. Exactly! Also I remember ordering a "Hogwards" Glock 42 from Armsaholic, which would have worked out about £70 delivered but it was seized by Border Force. Again, VFC made but if you want one now you have to pay the full £160 - which quite frankly is ridiculous for such a small gun.
  14. Reasoned debate!? This is the Internet, let's get personal! I like my Umarex 19X but haven't used it much, so maybe I'll change my opinion in time. I do agree with you though, I got in to airsoft just as unlicensed trademarked Glocks were being discontinued and even then you could pick up a "Stark Arms" 17 with all the correct markings for £90.
  15. To play devils advocate, upgraded barrel, upgraded rubber, extra mag which can likely be repaired easily enough. Perhaps could be £20 or so cheaper to be a good price but I've seen a lot worse pricing. Plus I bought a trademarked WE Colt 25 off this guy and he kept me up to date every step of the way with a chrono video, then postage receipt etc.
  16. Wasn't there one a few pages back "as new because it's sat on a shelf for three years"...
  17. What's it shooting atm? 290fps is perfectly fine for a pistol.
  18. They've literally listed the new price for both items - surely that's not what they're asking....is it? 😲 Speaking of which, those WAS holsters must have gone up in price - sure I paid like £25 for mine.
  19.

Thanks @Rogerborg - "Why to buy?" and in this case "combat size" is stuck in my head. What's more annoying, is I'm waiting on one of these to come via seafreight.

Why not to buy: 12mm thread.

Not an issue if you're looking for a compact pistol and don't intend to over-compensate for anything.

@Rogerborg - Errrr.. yeah not an issue for me....I mean the thread thing, not the....nevermind. I do actually enjoy this guys reviews though.

  20. New one to add to the list: "Not for the painted heart"
  21. Try and avoid ordering from evike wherever possible. Nothing inherently wrong with them but with the delivery time and that items always seem to get pulled by customs, it's just rarely financially worth it.

customs is the big one, it'll take a package 2 days to cross the atlantic followed by 2 week crossing the dover docks

I recently ordered an EBR front end because...reasons. What actually turned up was two outer barrels, an EBR sightpost and gas block and a standard M14 flash hider. All in bits as opposed to the "fully assembled" of the description and devoid of the EBR Vortex flash hider. Quick online chat with customer service and it was all sorted, replacement sent FOC and was told to keep the bits I'd been sent in error. Thanks to the goods being marked as zero value there was no customs hold up the second time which highlighted just how long they'd hung on to it before!

I don't think I've ever had anything come from the US that hasn't been molested by customs.  It's pretty much guaranteed.

  22. AAP-01 came today. At work, so haven't even opened the box but on the outside the most prominent wording is "ACTION ARMY COMPANY (AAC) WAS FOUNDED ON THE YEAR 2010 AND IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TAIWAN".....errmmm cool, now I'm...errr..hyped...maybe have a little chat with Tokyo Marui about how to make an airsoft gun box, AAC.

@DestrO - The only other place I saw them was Crawley Surplus and they were the same price. I haven't done extensive research though, just so happens I follow them both on facebook.

  23. The guy wanting the feed lips isn't at all in the wrong there. I have to do things when I think of them or usually end up forgetting. Messaging a company out of hours is something I've done many a time, because of that (and of course most of us work during the day). Had he chased-up for a response five minutes later, the reaction would be in some way understandable (although still unprofessional). As far as I can see that wasn't the case.
  24. Just read through some of that. Whatever Milspec did aside, the ones commenting "got any feedlips? lololol" likely also think the things they shout during the safety briefing are hilarious.
  25. Looking forward to receiving my AAP-01 tomorrow 😎

@Skara - Annoyingly I've had a million WE Glock mags over the years and sold them all. Only got a couple of TM ones now. Although TBH, I'm not a fan of the extended ones as I don't use my sidearm enough to justify my holster being off balance or it protruding from a mag pouch.

Looks like another batch have come in to the country. Crawley Surplus have them and spare mags in stock now too.
