Your pictures show two different pistols. Which is for sale in this listing?

*Price reduced as now only includes 1 x extra mag* This lightly skirmished, multi-award winning pistol comes with an urban grey lower and metal (non-suppressor) slide. Internally it has an upgraded TNT barrel and hop rubber and this version apparently comes with an upgraded trigger (it's certainly responsive and light). In total I'll include 2 x CO2 mags. Currently these are leak free, but the reality is Airsoft mags do suffer from leaks without prior warning, especially CO2. Comes in a nice pistol case, with factory cut foam to hold everything where it should be. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Please PM any questions, I usually respond quite quickly. I can usually post within two working days, if it looks like I'll be unable to fulfil this, I will update you accordingly. Please do not chase before then.

  4. TM have just announced their Gen.5 MOS too.
  5. For some strange reason the mags didn't want to go in using the CTM lower and Black Mamba upper. So I've reverted back to the AA lower. Not the most creative colour combo, but I think it looks very slick!
  6. Don't take this the wrong way but the majority of your posts on the forum are about part longevity. There are way too many factors for anyone to be able to give you an accurate answer. Just enjoy the toy and replace parts if they break or wear out 👍
  7. Are these really upgrades though? Chances are the gun performs worse than it did before.
  8. Are you just upgrading for the sake of tinkering or do you have specific expectations? If it was me, I would go for a Maple Leaf Crazy Jet inner barrel and 50 degree Flamingo rubber. Don't worry about anything else until it breaks.
  9. .....and the circle is complete. I just couldn't stay away from this upper.
  10. This sounds unique to your site. Every place I've played has a distinction between safe and game zone. General safety brief takes place in the safe zone. I also find it annoying when you're trying to make your way out to the start point and people are stopping in front of you to spray bushes, but many times it's rentals, so I guess there's an element of familiarising themselves with the equipment etc (I'm being kind). The emphasis is always on the individual keeping their eye pro on and that's the way it should be, you can't rely on someone else to be responsible for your H&S.

Despite this being based on the TM G19 platform, it doesn't have a single TM part in it. It does however run perfectly on TM G19 magazines, as the slide and BBU actually weigh the same as the original TM parts combined (102g). Used in garden plinking and two skirmishes. You'll notice in the pictures that its got the usual Glock rubbing between the outer barrel and slide, a long with minor marks from a bit of holstering etc. Other than that, it's in good overall condition. In summary: Guarder 6.02 inner Barrel with Chamber Set - £52 Flamingo Bucking (can include a Guarder one if you really want but these are far superior!) - £12 Guarder Aluminium Slide - £113 Guarder Steel Outer Barrel - £59 Guarder Complete Lower in FDE (US Markings) - £205 *ie everything in the lower is Guarder, not just the frame* Guarder Light Weight Nozzle Housing - £17 Guarder Nozzle with internals (including piston head) - £25 Guarder Night Sights - £13 Guarder 150% Recoil Spring - £16.50 Guarder Steel Dummy Ejector - £9 Guarder Glk GBB Mag Base - £12 Total = £533.50 Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Please PM any questions, as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing. I can usually post within two working days, if it looks like I'll be unable to fulfil this, I will update you accordingly. Please do not chase before then.

  12. Yeah, I'm sure it makes sense on someone's excel sheet! Plus not like Marui actually give a shit what we want, haha.
  13. Perhaps my favourite GBBP is my TM FN-57. However I was just reminded that they used to make a foliage green (lower) version. Similarly Guarder discontinued their OD green Glock 17 Gen.3 lowers and didn't even bother to release it in that colour for the Gen.4 Considering the number of woodland players in this hobby, it baffles me how infrequently green isn't an option when black and tan, grey and even pink are! Take the CZ Scorpion Evo, they went to the effort of coming out with limited edition FDE and Grey....but yeah, you get it....no green! All of these mentioned are available in OD/Ranger/Foliage in the real steel world, so why not airsoft RIF's?
  14. As others have mentioned, GBBP shots are so inconsistent (due to depletion of gas and cooldown), that the reality is you're just "upgrading" for the sake of tinkering. By all means put a maple leaf barrel in it and swap out the rubber. You could also change the hop arm and use an I-Key (or is it H? 🤔), that way you can confidently lift heavier ammo. Just don't ever expect "tight groupings" in airsoft.
  15. The biggest difference is on the Gen.4, is there's an actual pin which goes through the trigger spring, so you have to knock this through (on the Gen.3 it's a fake one). As a tip for this, the slide release spring rests in a notch on this pin, so it's best if you lever this spring out of the notch while pushing the pin through (took me bloody ages to figure that one out!). This pin also makes reassembly more fiddly. The way I do it is to put the pin through the trigger spring first, then when everything else is back together, I take a tiny Allen key and use it to lever the trigger spring over the trigger bar (you can pull on the trigger to bring it closer while you do this). Hopefully that makes sense.
  16. I'm a little confused by your question. You start by asking about compatibility between 3 and 4, then go on to mention 4 internals in a 4 frame.
  17. @alxndrhll - Seems people are more specifically referring to YouTube clickbaiters than social media as a whole. We know at least 50% (probably quite a bit more) of their audience don't play. From that I would assume a chunk will take part at some point. I'm not quite a "dinosaur" yet (seem to recall I'm within five years of you), but I did grow up without social media. We've seen from Prime "sports" drink selling for £30+ a bottle, how easily influenced a lot of young teenagers (the same age they can start playing) are. I won't believe you, if you tell me a significant percentage of those don't go in with preconceived notions or skewed attitudes, based on what they've seen online. Edit: I will add that I've played at the same site as several YouTubers, including Kicking Mustang. Ironically there was zero drama in real life. He kept himself to himself/seemed quite humble and no-one got their eyes shot out with an air rifle etc. Although I did chuckle when I heard him say something along the lines of, he doesn't know why people find his videos so controversial.
  18. I initially decided against installing it, as it seemed very tight and bad things happen when I take a file to a gun. However I ended up going back to it and realising it didn't need any modification (I just needed to braver). I wanted the green lower as have several black or tan guns. Just an aesthetic thing, innit.
  19. I can't remember the last time I attended a skirmish and it took longer than ten minutes to hear "Those cheaters aren't calling their hits!" When did that become so prevalent?
  20. I think mostly you hit the nail on the head with the last line. It's obviously a matter of opinion and yes age/experience, predominantly sway that. I bought my first Airsoft gun in 2016, age-wise I could have started playing around fifteen years earlier. When I started looking at other RIF's, it was right when Glock had kicked-off about using their trademarks and anything bearing it, dried up pretty quickly. Leaving me feeling like I'd missed out! Also I don't remember looking at any Western Arms models and it seemed like the last of the G&P aegs were rapidly going out of stock. Having spoken with people who were playing several years+ before I started, it does seem like it was smaller groups meeting up to play and everyone's gun was about the same level. Basically just having a laugh. It seems a bit like cars, the classics are way cooler but realistically can't compete with modern, high-end stuff. So I'm a relative Newbie but I have been feeling more and more players emphasis is on "DESTROYING the enemy with this OVERPOWERED BEAST!!!!" rather than tactics....and yes I do blame YouTubers for that attitude.
  21. Update (if anyone cares, haha): I've short-stroked it to the very limit of still locking back on empty, using a Waldo kit (incl' recoil & nozzle spring). I also added this TTI CNC silencer adapter kit. I know the original outer barrel has threads but this gives you higher sights and obviously allows it to be a bit more compact (when using a tracer etc). I'm just charging my short tracer, to see if the inner barrel isn't too long and thus doesn't activate it. If it is, I've got a shorter one I can use....but then yeah, I've essentially got a very well setup CQB gun. The cherry on top would possibly be a rail but that's easy enough to sort. The only issue is, I've never played CQB and don't intend to....
  22. Welcome to the forum! I'm just outside SE London and have a car, so not in the same boat as I can easily head into Kent or West Sussex. There are several good sites out there. If you can get yourself to Chislehurst, I reckon you'll have a decent time. It's been a while since I was at Red1 but my experience was it's a decent crowd and definitely more mid-range than long. The site describes itself as "Woodland CQB" because it's a fairly small patch, next to a children's football field. Also within the M25 you've got TWA Croydon - it's a bit rough around the edges and very much geared towards the rental crowd, but I quite like the actual grounds and there's a good open area to get your hop set etc.
  23. I sold mine fairly quickly for £115 incl' delivery & Paypal fees (with a mag). As @BigStew says, not having a mag may affect the value more than you think. Bearing in mind, picking up a mag could cost the buyer around £35 delivered to buy separately.
  24. As someone who's done it on this exact make and model, by disassembling and lightly rubbing with brake fluid, I can confirm that it's definitely possible. Of course, I would also argue that the whole process takes something away from that "box fresh" appeal.
  25. Yeah, that bit I understand....however "several" individual trigger pulls?
