And yet some how it came back @Tackle great meme drop into the question box -
i really wish i had some wip photos for you all as well. Cut the bottle neck of your choosen cleaning fluid bottle, hot glue gun in place once fit is 'good' - use addition cleaning bottles as required to achieve fit, add gafa tape by the roll to ensure there is a prayer it will survive riggers of transport, wrap in half a roll of 'camo' tape and paint with my kids paints, add coats until stays dark if not black..... also yes i need to fix/cover/remove the remaining blue but gods damn that stuff is tough to shift from the rubber grip.

I made a stock for my shotgun using gaffa tape, a cut up bottle of cleaning fluid and the dream it will need to survive the gun bag on my next day out. The reason? Well playing a game with limits and rules i am not allowed stockless shotguns or rather 'tactical' shotguns, (but then everything is tactical....) so a plan was formed and with a causual glance it looks ok. (Will throw a pic up later) Rude not to once you have the know how, they no doubt look great on pew given how fab they look off.

Keep it simple for as long as you can! Enjoy the simplified load yet still have loads of pockets. -
The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Happy for you.... -
Welcome, as mentioned there are a number of Londoners in here, all willing to get another body to the london (and adjacent) sites. If you drive then that just opens up the potential for so many more sites for you. Your idea of 'close' will be very different. I look forward to bumping into you at a site

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
I might (definatly) have a cqb itch/bug. Got lots of kills, died lots. Really intense. Overall a grand day of shooting but my gods why did i decide to red 1 on the day that one of the key crossing of the river is closed and the other major crossing is running at 50% capacity! Ok for those that dont know london, it caused a major shitshow that meant the 90mins tfl told me it would take was really 2.5 hours of near torture. -
What Have You Learned About Airsoft Recently?
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Cr0-Magnon's topic in General Discussion
This people getting over shot or moaning due to head shots because only their head is showing? Today i learned that i should just buy ammo on site if i am on public transport, more space for water/sports/salts drinks. Seriously i did 5lt yesterday in prep for today and still did 8lt water and 1lt (2x500ml) lucazade before leaving site. There were some today that were not hydrating as they should. Also learnt i really enjoy the cqb. Not the loose collection of structures some call a 'village' but the full on "small but perfectly formed" Red 1 Chiselhurst. So intense. I also reaffermmed i enjoy the look on peoples faces when tell them how much my toy gun cost after desicivally beating them in a firefight. -

I'd try to look closed in that part of the world as well. I keep wanting to make the journey over to these guys as it is a 'london' store but damn its a long ass trip

Again, thats the £2 a sack stuff ? I am partial to some black teas which might be quicker than the filter... As to the Picard test, (and this may light up the thread) i'll take my hot drinks advice from 2 better captians from ST. -

4lt on a skirmish day, 2 on the back and 2 in the bag for refill at lunch. I do need to get in to the habit of salts and electrolites replacement. I do drink coffee like a feind though this is mostly due to getting to site early having packed properly the night before and then have little to do except chew the fat, gwak at others kit and drink coffee. -

What Have You Learned About Airsoft Recently?
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Cr0-Magnon's topic in General Discussion
Thats not really a though is it. You dont ever settle on 'thats my next purchase' just an endless cycle of 'i'm really going to buy this, but i still really like the look of.....' Or at least thats the way i found it. I have 'almost' settled on next assault style toy and down to *hem* 3 shotguns..... -
What Have You Learned About Airsoft Recently?
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Cr0-Magnon's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, that will do it. I often wondered at the gbbr crowd with their really economical shots and low ammo count. Then i looked up the cost of mags..... -

Jaylordofwaargh replied to Cr0-Magnon's topic in General Discussion
@Cr0-Magnon mine are very similar to yours, well the first two 1) mid-caps are the way forward 2) comfort over (uni)form There was a three when i started but after a long arse day its gone -
This site sounds amazing. These sites are very much a play as often as possible while you can. It is the woe of urban cqb sites that the landlord will often use us (or rather game organisers/companies) as a stop gap whilst the sale/ planning goes though. I mean unless it is owned land (like i believe Mayhem, Essex is) then almost all sites are under near threat of 'we sold the land/planning came through'.

https://filmsim.co.uk/event/territory-pt4/ This will be my first weekender! I am not gonna lie, quite excited. Anyone else going to this or am i the only one repping afuk? So with 18 or so days to go i have only a few bits to buy (for medic rules). Now it is a case of finding an hour or so to do a 'gather' of kit and lay it all out to see if i need to trim. Then there is the check and pack with possibly a re-pack depending on how the weight is on the packs. I am likely to use this thread as a diary on the lead up and review once i am done. Do have a read of the story and rules as it will be great context. I am in the civilian militia!

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Here is the original As @hoggym4 mentions there is no mention of boneyard status. It looks as if working proof was not asked for or provided, which is a shame. @Neil Carter however should be given the chance to respond but hey its Mack's so who knows. I am with @strykerles in that it does look like a tasty bit of kit. -
Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Nutster's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
This load out has (the self designated) title 'raider' Kept it simple and cheap(ish) this is for a weekender where 'civvy' is an option, the bag is mostly for food, cook kit and hydration as we are kinda ammo limited. The grab bag is an absolute divine piece of gear, love the capacity and load bearing and as it sits beneath the rest it is pretty stable as well.
