  1. Not really having fun to just inform someone of the facts, how they handle the information you give them is all on them, you're doing nothing wrong by doing that. Could the rule-abiding players not just say hey we're not playing with that/those guys because they keep breaking the rules? Has nobody gone and had an adult conversation with them over it? I know we're supposed to just tut and carry on but sometimes shit needs to be said.
  2. Haha. I get told I look like so many people. Last one was Linus Sebastian.
  3. I bought this mask like 6 months ago, first time taking it out the box;
  4. Only two of those are for the scar, side button for the torch and top for the dbal, 2 others for my Orion, the rest are spares.
  5. I got my WADSN Unity / hotbuttons: ### Need to swap the button behind the dbal back to a button with a RAMP, not enough room in front of the eotech to easily get my thumb in there. Like this: Only it'll be a tan button with a smaller connector.
  6. Nightmare trying to get all the titan wires + maxx tracer wires in the RA GB without the pinion chewing it up. Of course I went for the dremel:
  7. That's a pretty good idea. Also looks a lot slimmer and could easily fit inside, I'll have to hold a shell in the middle of the cage around where it would be and measure the distance between the top/sides for making struts / mount points that can be screwed into the cage, measure distance between where I'm thinking the lever/button would be: this is what i'm thinking, something like this. I'd have to remove the parts in there that hold the dummy shell etc, and I could dremel a shell into like, half, and then stick it inside the gap so it still has the faux shell visible. That or just remove it completely and use some metal sheet as a faux 'dust cover' (I think it has one when you cock it actually but I removed that early on in my first gun to make room for a bigger battery in there.
  8. It looks roomy but it's deceptively roomy. When you put the shells together there's a ton of plastic that gets in the way which I need to remove. I'm going to practice with the parts I have now and cut away where the 3d-printed launcher can do, and figure out a way to mount it (would basically just be by a few screws into somewhere inside, doesn't have to be pretty. Honestly I looked at doing this 4 years ago when I first got it, I think about 3-5 people total have done it over on the aliens forums from what I remember, and they had to do a ton of work and use some out of print mini launchers that you can't get anymore. Best bet is to modify that shotshell launcher and make that bottom panel able to open downwards to lower the launcher for reloading. Just need some kind of metal latch I can attach to it + inside of the spas cage. Just tested without the panel and I can push shells in with a bit of force, I shouldn't need to enlarge the hole, the plastic will give way enough to pop one in. VID_20211202_091842.mp4 The launcher wouldn't be able to fit down outside of it for reloading, so it'd have to be mounted a bit forward and higher up, so when you drop the container down the shell slides out and can be reloaded. And I'm just going to get a cheap tube of perspex from ebay to use as the 'barrel' to ferry the shotshell BBs out of the gun. https://streamable.com/6qicg9
  9. I'm looking at this: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/spektrum-2200mah-3s-11.1v-100c-smart-lipo-battery-ic3-443852 It won't fit in the buffer tube in my Orion, but the Hera stock has a lot of room so I'll just take it apart and dremel some of the crap inside out of the way. The specs / info on that battery look pretty good, but I'm sure there will be people saying just get x,y,z brands. (Which I'd love to hear from, if you can find me a battery that'll fit.)
  10. It must be the lighting, because that's ranger green with black. I stood my fish tank lid up against the wall so I had two big CFFL tubes pointed at me.
  11. Trying on kit before weekend. FPS cover art pose: Unfortunately I stood too close to the camera so no good helemt pics. And I forgot my danged gloves.
  12. What bothers me most is that they have openly admitted to it being their fault - you want to know how many working original black warhead motors there will be in 2 years time? absolutely 0. The fact that I had to buy a pretty much entirely new motor due to their own issues would swear me off buying any more products from them if I knew someone else that did brushless aeg motors for the same price.
  13. Good luck.. I had two break on me and they had JB Weld on them. The first one had to be trashed but they gave me a 20% discount code. The second one they charged me £30 to replace the circuit board with the faulty contacts that were about to wobble off. I've had like 10 motors in the past 4-5 years, not a single one has a remotely bent pin. Pretty disappointed with Warhead to be honest - for that price, and to basically have to buy a whole new one, and pay to have their own manufacturing faults fixed - poor show really, never heard of customer satisfaction - guarantees return business and is.. good business. But yeah, good luck. Are the turnigy 15-25c better than the nuprol 30cs? Enough to replace two of them? Trying to get more RPS out of a DSG and people keep saying new battery but can't find a 50c one that'll fit without demolishing the inside of teh stock.
  14. The SPAS-12 cage. It's use for housing a long tube NiMH battery. No Idea where the lipo is going, but that's an issuea to be resolved later. This is what I have to work with internally. Please ignore the mess. It was my first gun and I spent about 2 years dicking around with it, it's useless now just a wall decoration. But a new Snow Wolf base is only £250, and I'm planning to spend £99 on a Warhead BASE motor for it, so it's pretty cheap considering it's one of my favourite guns and I want to rebuild it. I am also dubbing the rebuild 'Xenobane'. Because I can and it's cool. It's going to be an SSG with a 363mm barrel. Parts list right now:
  15. Anyone good with modelling be able to help me tweak this? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1773900 I've done a lot (removal of plastic mostly), but I need it to have more bits in other places etc so it fits properly. I'm doing a rebuild of my pulse rifle with a new gun, and I'm determined to get a shotshell launcher in there. I could fit it right here, and that bottom panel could be turned into a latch / door that opens for reloading, with some plastic tube on the inside as a barrel. I'm not sure about how to trigger it yet though, probably some kind of 7-shaped button that goes down into where the camo tape is, it just needs to be able to push the shotshell valve to fire it, with a spring behind it. But anyway I need to take it apart and do proper measurements and can basically draw in paint what I need with the dimensions on it, shouldn't take anyone who knows how to do models well more than 10 minutes I imagine. Thanks in advance. Edit: Can throw like 20quid your way.
  16. Highly recommend for any cerakoting needs. I contacted about 15 places and barely any replied, the ones that did were ridiculously expensive. https://www.facebook.com/supremecoatingsuk/ Dave is great. Supreme Coatings. The turnaround was super fast too, probably less than a week, and I even sent along my SCAR-H mag release and had it cerakoted in red along with the rest of my parts, and when I realized the mistake and told him they had already been done, but he stripped and cerakoted it in black for me for free! Half of this was done by Dave's Airsoft and half by Chris. The colours matched up perfectly all he needed was the ratio, the work I feel is probably of better quality also (Dave's was good too but I wasn't that happy with the masking off of certain areas that had to be re-done, but then Supreme Coatings didn't have to do anything like that so I can't comment there.)
  17. Half done by Dave's Airsoft, half done by Supreme - defintiely recommend them to anyone wanting cerakoting done! Compared to Dave's he was extremely fast (turnaround was under a week I think), communicative and kept me up to date with pictures and I accidentally sent along the mag-release for my SCAR-H which got cerakoted red - I told him but he had already done it, but he stripped and re-did in black for free!
  18. Got my skittles dump pouch at last;
  19. Almost done with this build. Just waiting for an r-hop patch and a longer rail for the bottom so I can move the grip to the front(which will need to be cerakoted. ugh.) Edit: P90 style sling works a treat on the stock!
  20. Finally got the new lower + tracer unit for my gun; Need to get some red tracer BBs now Anyone know where I could find some .30g red tracers? 25/28 is the heaviest (in red) I can find anywhere.
  21. That'd be one tiny light. I wonder how many lumens you could get out of something that small.
  22. Got my handguard painted and setup today; It's got a 45mm spacer on the end, but it's a much better fit when I ready it on my shoulder with the stock 15mm one so I went back to that. I'm also waiting on another RAMP and a 2.5mm ModButton to go with/behind the MAWL on top like this: And the ICS MARS lower reciever (stuck in customs for 19 days today..) Changing the torch on the side to arisaka mount, but needs some work:
  23. Just got this 'TCU' installed, works great: See how much wobble there would be without it:
  24. Postman delivers 10.5 ICS Barrel. 2x prom plates, modbutton, unity button, XT cylinder/head, ICS bolt stop assay, plastic spring guide with no thrust bearing. Fixed the DBAL button from: To:
  25. The one on the right looks like the Morita
