depends on what sort of realism you want. Tokyo marui mws is realistic in function and handling but not in internals It is however the best performing stock. Vfc (specifically their gen 3 rifles) are very good as well but can take a little bit of work to get as good as the mws. However they have realistically shaped internals, kick a little harder, feel a little nicer. I used to run mws rifles but I found I liked classic integral carry handle rifles more than anything modern and a vfc m16 + a set of mags worked out cheaper than converting an mws into a classic rifle on its own.

But the government previously allowed commercial sales of the type 89 which was also a training aid. Its practically free advertising for recruitment. There is nothing special or secret about the type 20 so what would be the reason for restricting a toy version of it?

I find it unlikely that they wont do the Japanese army rifle and if an airsoft company has been contracted to make one type of training rifle and its not an airsoft gun then its pretty likely an airsoft gun will be coming. I imagine that takes a little longer to develop than a lump of rubber though

It appears we may have been talking at cross purposes. I am talking about potential airsoft guns not the rubber rifle itself. I brought that up because the fact they have made the rubber rifle just ties in with the fact they are probably making the airsoft versions for the army and thus for commercial sale as well reasonably soon. Sorry about that. Thought you were talking about the type 20 in general rather than specifically the rubber one.

Since it is the jsdf service rifle I think it likely it goes the same way as the type 89 and they do both. They never did an ngrs version of that though for whatever reason.

Here we go. from the marui website Percussion cap: to further enhance the realism of the M1851, brass (non-exploding) percussion caps have been added. The M1851 sits between the flintlock and the modern revolver. Fulminate percussion caps were placed on the cylinder to fire the bullets (called balls). Tokyo Marui wanted to fully replicate this feature. Any source on where you heard that because I cannot think of a single reason why that would be the case and seriously doubt it.

They had a rubber type 20 training rifle on display at the show so they have likely been hired to make all the training gear again. Their type 89 was bought as a training aid so its likely we arent far off getting a type 20 too.

In the video they showed selling spare cylinders which each came with 6 percussion caps separately. I think its a cosmetic thing rather than actual caps.

Bought, assembled, tried out in the garden and never used. This is an nvg10 1080P night vision monocular. Gets about 5 hour battery life. Works reasonably well on ambient light but also has a built in illuminator. Comes with its original box, charger and a metal adapter plate to make it fit the knockoff Wilcox mount it is shown attached to. This should fit the nvg mount on any fast style helmet. Also for sale is a wadsn Ogl laser module. This is a clone of the eotech laser module. The body is polymer but it contains both an ir and a visible laser as well as a visible torch. The dot is a little messy through the nvg10 but quite visible and useable. Looking for £250 for the nvg with all its mounting hardware and £50 for the ogl or £275 for the pair. A project I started a while ago. This is an s&t polymer m203 grenade launcher with a barrel I designed. This barrel has the taggin rifling built in. This allows you to use the included army force gas shells which are a knockoff of the avengers. This means you can unscrew the top and replace it with different heads. Currently these have a short head on them that holds the tag round tightly and lines up to fit them into the rifling in the barrel. If preferred Im happy to print off 3 of the explosive enterprises adapters instead at no extra cost so the shells can be used with any smooth bore grenade launcher. The setup also has a real steel m&p pistol grip, a 5ku aluminium folxing stock and a 3d printed standalone chassis on it. Also included is a knockoff doctor red dot and a 3d printed adjustable launching sight as well as a co2 capsule adapter for filling the shells. The shells work well but did leak slightly when I got them. Taking them apart and using a thin grease on the seals solved that issue perfectly but they have now been sat in a box for a while. Also comes with 2 taggin practice rounds. Original barrel also included Price includes paypal fees and postage.£150

The piston inside has cracked as shown in the picture meaning it cannot be cocked but running the bolt while holding down the trigger still chambers and ejects the shells just fine. 4 pistols that have sat on a shelf or in a holster their entire lives. All have been test fired and the grach has been taken to a skirmish and sat in its holster. Other than that they are all as new. paypal fees and postage are included in the prices 1 Tokyo marui detonics. This one came to me second hand but is in very good though slightly dusty condition. When manually running the slide it sometimes catches on the hammer slightly but this does not affect it when shooting. £75 2 we cheetah m84. As new other than test firing. Comes with its original black mag and an additional silver one. Gun was briefly two toned but has been stripped back to its original finish thoroughly though it has lost some paint on the faux extractor. £90 3 we beretta 950 lovely small gun. Quite snappy but low powered. Great for a plinker or a super secret hidden milsim pistol. Shot a bit to test but otherwise as new. The gun is in good condition but has a couple of scratches. It is entirely stock apart from a maple leaf hop bucking and a 3d printed nozzle that I designed and was testing. I still have the original nozzle and it will be included in near perfect condition. Comes with 1 mws mag, the original accessories and manual and the bipod.£390
