  1. not tested that yet but ive fired 3-4 mags through on one charge so far with no signs of slowing down. When I initially stuck it on the charger I only left it for 10 minutes and I got one or two jams where it couldnt quite cock itself but after an hour of charging I havent had a single jam from this charge Once there are spare mags available unless you are using it as a primary in cqb I dont think battery capacity will be an issue
  2. MOV_4203.mp4 Yes I know that I had the safety turned off when I did that little demo. I am the dum but yes I can confirm the left side safety does nothing to stop the gun from firing
  3. oh. Ive gotten it apart. there are 3 pins in the frame holding the chassis in but you can actually take the slide off like any normal pistol. just punching out the slide release though you do have to make sure it is not cocked first. Internals look very robust, ill post pics later. notably the catch surface, the teeth on the slide and some of the other wear parts seem to be seperately replacable with screwed in inserts. Edit: also i was wrong. Left hand safety is entirely aesthetic, right hand is the working one
  4. So I just got mine. Fairly stiff prime by hand but it is surprisingly snappy. Trigger is quite nice if fairly light. Safety feels a little cheap and despite being on both sides the safeties are not connected. Both of them disconnect the trigger but you are gonna have to pick one and leave the other off. I dont tend to use manual safeties anyway so this isnt really an issue for me. Not the first clue on how to disassemble and there is no manual in the box. had one or two jams due to not charging the battery fully meaning the gears didnt quite make it all the way around but racking the slide spun the gears and put it back into manual and with a proper charge ive yet to have any issues. Range its pretty good for a sidearm, around 200fps on a .25. It feels a little on the chunky side but Its been a while since I had the raptor so it may just be how the actual grach feels. It isnt noticeably fat like the old 1911 aeps. it looks as it should.
  5. Yeah. This is kinda why I wanted one. I like the idea of something that will reliably work all year round. I have a tm pistol for warmer times.
  6. not without an external propellent. its just down to the cylinder size you can fit in them and how much piston travel you can get. Id still call 200 fps pretty good considering it has a whole blowback mech in it too
  7. Patrol base already have them in stock. thats where I bought mine. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cm-136-grach-ebb-mosfet-edition
  8. Yeah. I had one of the original raptor pistols when they first came out and I had it all of a day of trying to get more than 3 shots in a row before sending it back for a refund.
  9. So ive seen these around with very limited information. Seems to be about 200fps, holds 17 bbs and has the battery in the magazine. It works on a system similar to the gbls das or some of the older guns that preceded that and some newer nerf guns. That meaning you get a mechanical trigger that releases the sear on the piston and then the motor automatically kicks in to recock that piston and make the slide cycle. Probably a bad idea to be an early adopter but ive always liked aeps and this just seems so cool ive ordered one. Ill post more once I have it. No spare mags available anywhere at the mo but its only been out for 4-5 months or so and less than that in the uk.
  10. So I know Ares guns are bad but I thought to myself "surely. even they cant fuck up a handguard" so I got one of their octa arms mlok ones off their website..... they sent me the wrong length.... >_> ffs Ares....

@The_Lord_Poncho could it be they're two different threads?

I've got a contact in China who makes rails but finding hard to sell since selling via stores like Aliexpress is now forbidden.  I was thinking about offering to get them drop-shipped.  Not sure if worth the time and effort, are people still looking at buying different rails?

@ak2m4Would that happen to be the place that used to be called Handguard aeg shop On aliexpress? I did wonder why they pulled all their products. I have one of their fsp handguards and its very nice

yes that's the place, I did speak to the guy and he said he's be up to trying out some type of drop-shipping with the handguards.  I'm speaking with him tomorrow.  Will need to work out the shipping times etc but it could be a good way of getting these into the UK.

  11. So in all my various dealings and buying and selling ive ended up with about 30 magazines for the kj works m93r rebranded by si. Minor problem is that noone seems to have one. Ive never seen one in the wild and no one wants to buy the mags. Secondly ive always wanted some sort of little sub machinegun as both a sidearm to my lmgs and as a nice light gun for more compact fields. and so I decided to build one. Ive made a new nozzle to work with these mags but it uses glock rocket valves and piston heads. It blows back already but obviously I cant test feeding or fps yet. Either way I didnt really expect to get it this far but it just worked first time I tested it XD. Im probably gonna go for something like a vz23 with a simple metal tube upper. Eventually a beretta mx4 storm may be on the cards since these are beretta mags. We will see how it goes.
  12. bottom half of the belt feed mech is getting there though I still need to build in a way to attach the box mag / mag adapter. Still tweaking the hpa adapter but it now only seems to leak from the bolt holes, the top half is entirely sealed so it may just be a matter of getting a metal one so I can better seal the threads. Decided for the vn mags ill be mounting it so they come in at an angle just below the feed ramp on the side so that the hanging belt can hide the end of it. should also mean I can get lower to the ground. I had a beaten up old tm g3 bipod and the hk21e bipod seems to use the same latch mechanism so i just chopped it a little shorter and made a new block for the top of it so it can slide into the handguard caps.
  13. Yeah Ive seen that one though since im basically modifying a rifle its closer to their colt lmg or hbar builds
  14. You posted this just before I was about to put an update on XD. So originally I was trying to use the original mag and hide it inside the box mag which would have lead to a much larger box mag than reel steel. I was also considering chopping the mag in half and splicing it smaller until @The_Lord_Poncho Made a suggestion that had somehow entirely slipped my mind "3d print one" And so I have designed and printed a new bottom part using the top half of the original we magazine, no modification needed. To be clear this will be sent off to be machined or printed in metal before I use it but I have tested it by pumping it up very slightly with my hpa pump (while wearing safety glasses) and it does infact cycle the gun just fine though it leaks around the bolts even with o rings which a metal version will hopefully fix. Did also have to remove the paddle mag release to get the connector in a good spot. having it this short also opens up an interesting possibility. I think I am going to add onto the bottom of it a dovetail or something similar and while I will make a box mag to use I am also considering a magazine adapter for vietnam style short m4 mags. With the belt feed mechanism and a short length of dummy 7.62 the mag would be barely noticeable and id be able to run the gun without the need for a box mag. Obviously Id need to get myself a supply of vn midcaps which are hard as hell to come across right now but I think this could be a great way to use it. If anyone has any suggestion's for some other 100 or so round midcaps that would be small enough to not be noticeable Id appreciate any ideas. Also 3d printed a guide to mark out the holes on the handguard and started drilling and cutting them into some 40mm aluminum pipe. The raised ridges on the handguard will be 3d printed additions and all of the small holes are threaded for m5 bolts so I can swap the ridges out for rail sections and the offset foregrip when I get around to modeling and printing it.
  15. I Had a kwa mp7 for a while and it was pretty good but the moment the temperature dipped at all it became a bolt action so I ended up shifting it Also the reason the tm one is 90% scale iirc is that they developed it when very little real world info for the real thing was available so they were basically trying to scale and build it from the few promo pics h&k had out at the time and it ended up a little small.
  16. Probably but the problem is 3d prints arent gas tight so id need to send it off to be made before I knew if it worked at all. I might give it a go. See if I can effectively just make a shorter magazine body since this is what comes out of the top of the g3 mag when you take the screws out.
  17. Having had a look actually I think it is feasable to chop the mag in half, remove a middle portion then add some guide blocks inside so it lines up, add a gasket between the two halves and bolt it back together
  18. Not had that particular issue but I got mine off a collector so it was basically untouched when I got it
  19. Ill pop you over a message. Im working on some moterbike bits that need printing so when those are sorted ill be doing the order
  20. I was aware of the issues with the nozzles when I got mine so the first thing I did was take out the original and put it to one side to use for measurements. Ive run maybe 5000 rounds through it so far on my various prototypes and all of them break on the feeding tab. Other than that no issues apart from getting a hang of the selector but thats a me issue.
  21. I have been making and testing type89 nozzles however using normal 3d printing they only last 800 shots or so. they do function perfectly during that however so im going to get a few multijet fusion printed. Problem is most of those places have a £40 miniumum order so im waiting until ive got some bits I need done for the hk21 machinegun project so I can order it all at once
  22. i mean if anyone knows a good way to chop down the we mag id love to hear. Unfortunately its made of 2 big cast chunks and the baseplate is part of it so it would be difficult to shorten and make gas tight
  23. Yeah. That is a possibility but unfortunately there are no short mags for the g3 I suppose maybe I can mod a vfc. Psg1 mag to fit but I have no idea if there is any parts compatability between the brands
  24. Well the reason im hpaing it is because the base gun I have is a we g3 gas blowback rifle XD. Its literally just a matter of putting a hpa adapter in the mag. I mean once all the parts are made I might start selling kits. We will see how it comes out. Im just working on making the handguard at the mo and have done a few test bits for the belt feed mech. I mean ideally it would be great to have an onboard gas supply but I dont really se a good way to do that
  25. So im working on a hk21 machinegun project. The base gun is a we g3 and i plan to hpa tap the original mag and hide it and the fitting inside the box mag. Anyone run a lot of gas blowback full auto around? Any advice would be appreciated as apart from testing guns I got to re sell this is my first experience with hpa.
