  1. They had a rubber type 20 training rifle on display at the show so they have likely been hired to make all the training gear again. Their type 89 was bought as a training aid so its likely we arent far off getting a type 20 too.
  2. In the video they showed selling spare cylinders which each came with 6 percussion caps separately. I think its a cosmetic thing rather than actual caps.
  3. Looks to be a piston in grip springer like their saa but I feel a mighty need....
  4. Im planning to grab one but im waiting for someone else to impulse buy one then flog it on the forums XD
  5. nothing particularly special. A few tm akm mags. Most of the stuff I got in this batch is already up. All the marushin bits and pieces.
  6. Okie doke. Thanks for the input everyone. Ill clean it up and stick it up here as soon as my ads refresh. Already hit my 10 listing cap this week XD
  7. It is a hopper fed one. No idea if it is bellows or not. Not taken it apart yet
  8. So I got a batch of old stuff once more and amongst it was this top m60. It works as it should and has one crack in a plastic part. Ive never had my hands on one and have no idea on value.
  9. May have gone on a bit of a compact pistol spree
  10. So having seem many photos of Explosive reactive armour blocks mounted to things It shouldn't be me and my friend got to talking about a dumb idea. I present you the first result of said dumb idea! The molle mountable kontact-1 ERA block! Ignore the colour. I got it cheap so I use it for prototyping. Will be in green for the final versions and maybe a stencil on top for the full meme effect
  11. Ive taken mine apart and It comes apart like a normal 1911 style pistol. The slide release is just very stiff to get out. Also make sure its not cocked when you take it out XD
  12. Ok. Thanks very much for the clarification. I believe one of the people who reposted your facebook post stated that it was only guns you have modified which is clearly incorrect then. Id certainly believe it was a design issue. That grip should not have shattered like that. That break does not look right for decent quality polymer. Added an edit to my previous for anyone reading through this post later.
  13. Here is the pic of the inside of the grip. That looks like a plastic too brittle problem to me but I dont really know. the fact its blown out like that around where I assume the bolt was
  14. I have seen people saying that so far this has only occurred on the guns that airsoft world have taken apart and painted but I myself don't have any evidence of that either way. Edit: This has been disproven. See the post from airsoft world below
  15. So just saw this from airsoft world ATTENTION ALL G&G LEVAR OWNERS! THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR RIFLE. It has come to our attention that there is a serious design flaw in the G&G LevAR rifles - both sizes. The pistol grip is breaking and disconnecting the gas line that travels from the gas tank within the pistol grip and into the main receiver. If gassed and under pressure, this can happen with an explosive release of the pressure, so please DO NOT use or mess about with your rifle. We were notified two days ago of a customers rifle 'exploding' as it was lifted from its box immediately after delivery. As we have not yet received that rifle back, we were not sure what had caused this failure and were hoping that it had been damaged in transit by the delivery courier. Around 5 mins ago, we've had two customers at the same airsoft site with the exact same failure. First use of the rifle and they both failed after a small impact. All three of these were the LONG 15" version but the grip is the same on the shorter 7" and although the shorty doesn't have the associated weight and leveraged forces of having the full stock and longer top receiver, there is still a risk of the same thing happening if you impact it hard enough. One rifle was propped on its stock and slid sideways, landing flat on the ground. The other was accidentally dropped to the ground from waist height whilst standing in the safe zone. Both pistol grips shattered and instantly released the gas as the line connection disconnected. Please bear with us as we are not open again until Tuesday (we have always been shut on Mondays) and we will contact YOU. So please do not start sending us emails, texts and everything else you want to throw at us, including the LevAR's ? We cannot get hold of G&G until Monday, and although I'm fairly sure they must already know about this failure we need to discuss a solution in order to resolve this quickly. PLEASE PASS THIS POST ON TO EVERYONE YOU CAN **This is a TOY, not a real firearm!**
  16. Finally started work on the box mag for the hk21. Has internals from an ares lmg box which will be wired to a pressure switch. Hpa adaptor goes in through the back as ive drilled and tapped a hole in the back of the mag.
  17. I wonder how many posts in this thread im responsible for ?
  18. So after a bit more testing and another charge ive not been able to get that same issue to happen again. The gun seems to work as it should now. One interesting thing. if you try to cock it for the first round and slip the motor will take over and cock the gun for you
  19. Unfortunately mine didnt come with a manual so i have no idea if the sleep mode is an actual thing or if its just a quirk of leaving the mag in the gun for a while. also sample of 1. probably a good idea to wait for a variety of reviews XD
  20. yeah just tested. About 4 mags is where it starts having issues. so around 64 clean shots and then it every now and again slows down slightly. Still runs but it just sometimes has to take a moment to recock itself. So treating this as if it were the gas capacity of a magazine it is still perfectly fine for a sidarm with the one downside of being more difficult to top up if you are out on a milsim or something. On another note the gun seems to have some sort of sleep mode. If I leave it with a mag in for a long while it will take half a second after shooting to actually start recocking itself. I only get this occasionally so im not sure what to make of it yet
  21. not tested that yet but ive fired 3-4 mags through on one charge so far with no signs of slowing down. When I initially stuck it on the charger I only left it for 10 minutes and I got one or two jams where it couldnt quite cock itself but after an hour of charging I havent had a single jam from this charge Once there are spare mags available unless you are using it as a primary in cqb I dont think battery capacity will be an issue
  22. MOV_4203.mp4 Yes I know that I had the safety turned off when I did that little demo. I am the dum but yes I can confirm the left side safety does nothing to stop the gun from firing
  23. oh. Ive gotten it apart. there are 3 pins in the frame holding the chassis in but you can actually take the slide off like any normal pistol. just punching out the slide release though you do have to make sure it is not cocked first. Internals look very robust, ill post pics later. notably the catch surface, the teeth on the slide and some of the other wear parts seem to be seperately replacable with screwed in inserts. Edit: also i was wrong. Left hand safety is entirely aesthetic, right hand is the working one
  24. So I just got mine. Fairly stiff prime by hand but it is surprisingly snappy. Trigger is quite nice if fairly light. Safety feels a little cheap and despite being on both sides the safeties are not connected. Both of them disconnect the trigger but you are gonna have to pick one and leave the other off. I dont tend to use manual safeties anyway so this isnt really an issue for me. Not the first clue on how to disassemble and there is no manual in the box. had one or two jams due to not charging the battery fully meaning the gears didnt quite make it all the way around but racking the slide spun the gears and put it back into manual and with a proper charge ive yet to have any issues. Range its pretty good for a sidearm, around 200fps on a .25. It feels a little on the chunky side but Its been a while since I had the raptor so it may just be how the actual grach feels. It isnt noticeably fat like the old 1911 aeps. it looks as it should.
  25. Yeah. This is kinda why I wanted one. I like the idea of something that will reliably work all year round. I have a tm pistol for warmer times.
