I suppose you could argue if you heard it in the briefing, there is a verbal contract that you agreed to be detained in such an event and you had the option to leave after the briefing if you disagreed.

Was that a Gunman site by any chance? I seem to recall hearing that in the briefings at Tuddenham. Seems a good idea to put that out there right away to deter anyone from trying it. Though not sure legally where they stand preventing people from leaving though it would look a bit suss if someone did try.

Yes, if I'm on my own and I need to take out 5 other players in close proximity to each other that know my general location, I'm going to be pulling that trigger as fast as possible. I really don't know why you're taking an issue with this. I'm not sure what mentality of playing you're coming at this from. I only really play milsims where I'm limited to semi unless running a support gun. I guess if you're full autoing through ferns on a typical Sunday skirmish, you might not appreciate the need to be able to shoot quickly in semi.

I can't see your argument here tbh. It's a design flaw/design limitation that you can out run an AEG trigger. Shooting quickly/double taps in semi auto is fairly normal practice in the military and full auto is reserved for very specific situations.

300 on .28s is over 350. Even if only a few FPS but breaks their rule. That is unless due to their non discovery of punctuation, the site has a .28 limit and HPA is limited to 300 on 0.2?

It's hardly user error. With many sites/milsims having a semi auto only rule for non support guns, it's only natural you're going to be spamming semi auto.

They're going for realism. It's a GBB after all. Perhaps their thinking is, if you're running a GBB, you would appreciate the necessity of opening up the top cover every 100 rounds just like a real one. I get it. Reloading is part of airsoft for me. If you didn't want to do that, you'd just get a P* or Daytona Gun M249.

The BL Tech BOSS unit was a very interesting piece of gear that was shown off years ago with a lot of hype but it seemed they turned their back on the airsoft market with hopes of getting government contracts iirc. It seems they're now back with a new name and the implied possibility of sales to your average airsofter.

The £549 doesn't include tax and shipping etc. Bear in mind the $500 VFC Carl Gustav retails over here for £750...So a $700 M249 that is going to be a bit cheaper to ship I guess is likely to be nowhere near £549.

OP, do you need the rifled plastic sleeve or the entire shell with the gas reservoir as they're two pieces. Also, are you aware of the green gas version's struggle with not providing enough power for the newer rounds which require CO2 or HPA?

I have a surplus Flecktan one that is whatever the German military's version of Gore-Tex is which is decent. Also have a Beyond Clothing ARX 2.0 which comes in a nice green which is also very nice.

Get yourself a honeycomb style killflash. It will cut out a bit of the signature but still usable. Unless you want to shell out for a germanium lense protector.

I have it on good authority that there is potentially an issue with the cocking tube alignment on some of these HK53s so be wary. Not sure if this is a batch issue or what but potential for something not to be great OOTB.
